‘Below Deck Med’ Alum Hannah Ferrier Looks Forward To Next Adventure
Below Deck Med alum Hannah Ferrier is sharing the next adventure in her life. In an exclusive new interview, she talked about pregnancy during the COVID-19 outbreak. Hannah also discussed possible baby names and the “sweetest” gift she’s received yet.
She’s looking forward to her next adventure: motherhood. On Monday’s episode of Below Deck Mediterranean, she waved goodbye to the show after Captain Sandy Yawn let her go. She’s not dwelling on what happened. Instead, she’s looking forward to her future.
TV Shows Ace previously reported that Hannah is having a baby girl. While she just made the reveal last week, she “found out ages ago” about her baby’s gender.
Hannah Ferrier talks about the joys of motherhood
If you take a good look at the Below Deck Med star’s Instagram page, you can see how happy she is. Hannah Ferrier revealed that she can’t stop smiling during this time. The former chief stew updated E! News on her pregnancy journey.
“I found out at 12 weeks and I’m 30 weeks,” Hannah told the outlet. She also made it clear that her baby girl will have the best wardrobe around.
“Her wardrobe is insane,” she exclaimed. “I’m in like, my maternity leggings and a $5 baggy top and she’s got like, Burberry and Camilla.”

Hannah joked that she will have to change her baby multiple times a day, so she can enjoy all of her new clothes. Aside from the “amazing” wardrobe that she has, Hannah recalled one touching present she received. She admitted that watching her firing on Below Deck Med has made her “emotional.” During that time, Hannah received a surprise gift from Season 5 charter guests. They sent her a gift from Burberry.
“I just thought it was another company sending me something,” Hannah explained. “When I actually opened it, it was from the charter guests—the ones that had their Las Vegas-themed night.”
She said it was the “sweetest” gift to receive since she was already having a rough day. The Below Deck OG exclaimed that the “beautiful gift” brightened her mood.
Below Deck Med alum has two new projects in the works
Hannah Ferrier has stayed occupied during the quarantine. She started two projects: her “Dear Diary, You’re Effed” podcast and the Ocean International Academy, a project she started with former Below Deck Med star Anastasia Surmava. But being pregnant amid the coronavirus pandemic has been scary. She called the current situation her “biggest fear.”
However, Hannah has remained positive amid the pandemic.
“I was in my first trimester when coronavirus was starting, when the whole world went into lockdown, so I was kind of just having a chuckle because I was at home throwing up and I couldn’t drink,” she joked. “There was no FOMO, everyone was to be at home bored, I was just throwing up on top of that.”

Starting a podcast and a new business while pregnant isn’t easy. But this is where Hannah’s yachting experience will come in handy, as per Bravo’s The Daily Dish. Of course, things are different now since she doesn’t have just herself to think about it.
“There’s a lot of training that’s gone into the lack of sleep that I have at the moment, so many years in yachting. But it’s just different now, I think, because I can’t just think about me; I’ve got to think about my daughter as well,” Hannah said. “So it’s very much trying to balance the work with making sure that I’m taking care of myself and getting enough sleep and not stressing her out.”
Hannah hopes that her experience, including “the highest of highs to the lowest of lows” will inspire the youngest of fans.
