Emma, Alex and Amber in a school environment alarms some fans

Lots of kids start school this week as some states re-open education. But, huge numbers of people disagree with that. They fear children contract the virus in school and then take it home to their parents and grandparents.

Like so many reality TV stars, news that the 7 Little Johnstons children return to school brought multiple arguments about the issue. Actually, some people feel so strongly about it that they write screeds of things they heard about the virus and schooling. It’s not only TV stars that face difficult choices. Plenty of everyday parents now worry about in-class education and learning.

Guidance for back to school in the USA

While the kids seem universally excited about returning to the classroom, parents obviously hold some reservations. Many of them faced the same difficult choice as Amber and Trent with Alex and Emma. Naturally, the kids can’t wait to see their friends again and enjoy the challenges of their education. But parents fear the kids take the virus to their teachers or back into their own homes. Well aware of this, the CDC issued some guidance for parents with school-aged kids.

The CDC website admits that returning to school brings a ” higher risk of COVID-19 exposure than virtual instruction.” However, the site also recommends their parents acknowledge children benefit from “social and emotional skills and opportunities for physical activity” at “real” school. But, they do note that children with complex medical issues exist. Obviously, parents of those kids give the decision a great deal more thought. Hopefully, the 7 Little Johnstons family stays safe at school.
