’90 Day Fiance’: Does Deavan Clegg’s Daughter Drascilla Have Autism?
TLC viewers have spent two seasons of 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way watching and learning about Deavan Clegg and her young daughter Drascilla. And, it goes without saying that she clearly has her hands full with Drascilla. But, is there something beneath the surface that the TLC personality is missing?
Concerned parents suspect Drascilla may have autism.
Now, if a person isn’t familiar with autism or doesn’t have a direct connection with autism it can be difficult to spot. After all, people do not look autistic. Individuals on the spectrum, however, do have similar behaviors, actions, and mannerisms. And, it appears as if some genuinely concerned 90 Day Fiance fans see a lot of signs of autism in little Drascilla.
And, it is important to keep in mind that concerned parents pointing out signs of autism isn’t intended to be criticizing Drascilla or Deavan Clegg. But, if Drascilla is autistic… There are all sorts of resources and therapies her mother could be using to make life easier. And, with the right therapy and resources, Drascilla could be a little less of a handful for her mother.
Does Deavan Clegg have an opinion on fans suspecting her daughter is autistic?
Initially, it isn’t easy for any parent to be told someone thinks their child is on the spectrum. There are stages and layers of emotions any parent will go through. It is easy for a parent to feel like they’ve done something wrong. Or, they are somehow to blame. It is also easy for a parent to believe their child is being attacked for being less than perfect. So, has Deavan Clegg responded to fans suggesting her daughter might have autism? If so, what does she think about it?
According to Distractify, Deavan Clegg does not address whether or not her daughter Drascilla might be autistic with fans. In fact, she tends to block anyone on social media who brings up the subject. So, no one is really sure how she feels about it because she shuts the topic down completely every time it comes up.

Deavan Clegg does find it disgusting that fans are so quick to judge her daughter. And, she hates how they attack her parenting skills. During a recent episode, Drascilla ran into the street. Fans took great issue with it. They insisted Deavan Clegg should spend less time taking selfies and more time teaching her daughter right from wrong.
She responded to viewers after receiving threatening private messages.
While those suggesting her daughter has autism are likely just trying to help. Some criticize Deavan Clegg for not properly parenting her daughter. Others questioned if Drascilla is unwell or getting enough sleep because of how pale she is in some pictures.

Deavan Clegg took the time to clap back at trolls with the following statement on Instagram.
Now my child is healthy and happy. Has everything she could wish for. She does amazing at school, helps with her brother, stays active and healthy. Everyone commenting on her fair complexion being a problem made me sick to my stomach. Drascilla and I are very pale naturally. Adults who harass children are disgusting and adults who are harassing me for fun and making fake phone calls to places to harm me and my family are the lowest of lows.”
So, if Drascilla does have autism her mother Deavan Clegg isn’t interested in discussing it with viewers.
