However, fair warning, if this kind of stuff makes you squeamish, you’ll definitely want to pass.

New video hits Instagram

Dr. Pimple Popper posted a new video on Instagram that’s got the comment section spiraling.

The comments range from being interested in the video to being a little grossed out by the procedure. But a few ask questions about how the pandemic has impacted Dr. Lee’s practice. One viewer sweetly writes,

While it may seem weird, Dr. Pimple Popper inspiring children to become doctors would actually be pretty great.

Dr. Pimple Popper Loves to Teach

Lately, cysts interest Dr. Lee quite a lot. Her Instagram account is full of cyst popping videos. It’s apparent she really enjoys what she does. However, her page isn’t just videos of pimple popping. She’s all about education. In the video below, Dr. Pimple Popper gives an in-depth explanation on the kinds of instruments she uses. Take a look:

We’ve reported on some of Dr. Lee’s videos before.  Because of her intense content, Instagram put a warning over the video. The doctor removes a pilar cyst from the back of a patient’s head. It’s quite a lot to take in. In the video, she describes the cyst contents as being very thick, like “wax or peanut butter.”

She Became Famous Practically Overnight

Dr. Pimple Popper is a household name today, but it wasn’t always that way. Before she achieved fame, she was just Dr. Sandra Lee. She occasionally posted blackhead removal videos online. Followers soon flocked to her channels to see the extractions in action. Soon, her videos went viral. But even as Dr. Lee became an overnight success, she doesn’t feel like a celebrity.

“I feel a little weird about it!” Dr. Lee says in an interview with PEOPLE. “I don’t feel like I should be a person who’s recognized. I’m not a real celebrity. I got here by accident as a pimple popper.”

As much as Dr. Pimple Popper fans love the show, it’s not for everyone. How do you feel about Dr. Pimple Popper videos? Do they gross you out, or do you find them interesting? No matter how you feel about the subject, let us know in the comments. We always love to hear from readers.
