Tyler Cameron Is Dishing Out Good Advice For Best Friend, ‘Bachelor’ Matt James
Bachelorette alum Tyler Cameron is dishing out some good advice for his best friend. Tyler’s roommate and best friend Matt James was recently named The Bachelor. And, now Tyler is offering some advice for his bestie as he prepares to hand out roses.
Tyler shares good advice for Matt
E! News shared all about what Tyler had to say. Tyler wants to make sure his friend is prepared for the job when he takes the reigns. He said, “Being the Bachelor and being the lead is a huge responsibility.”Tyler continued, “Better him than me, for sure.”
So what did he tell Matt? Tyler said his advice is pretty basic. He said, “I told him to just to be himself. ‘Cause that’s what everyone loves. They all love Matt for who he is.” He continued saying he told Matt, “‘Just be yourself and nothing else. You’ll do just fine!'”

He’s glad he’s not the leading man
Tyler also said he is glad Matt got the role and not him. He knows that Matt is the type of person who can handle the tough situations. And, he can definitely handle the hard conversations.
Tyler also said he will be there to support Matt throughout his journey whenever he needs him. He said, “Hopefully I can bring him some food, man. I don’t know where he’s going to be traveling, but hopefully I can go bring him some good homecookin’.”

Tyler also answered other dating questions
He was also asked what he thought about first impressions and messaging potential love interests. “You gotta make them laugh. You only get one chance to make the first impression. It’s kind of like the elevator pitch at the job. You only get one chance to show up. So make them laugh. Be a little creative, put some time into it. If you’re going to slide into their DMs, make it worth it.”
And, he also said men should be able to take constructive criticism when it comes to intimacy. Tyler said, “Communication’s important in the bed, and you also gotta be able to take the constructive criticism and be able to give it too. Feel free to give it as well. Men, we need to listen and help them get whatever they need to get!”
As far as his future plans, Tyler revealed he would love to be on Dancing With the Stars. Fans were hoping to see him reconnect with Hannah Brown, but it looks like that probably won’t happen. He’s currently focusing on himself and his brothers.
