What’s going on with The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City?

With the coronavirus pandemic disrupting television schedules, fans pleaded with Bravo to release upcoming Real Housewives early. Bravo shut down their requests, with Andy Cohen noting they couldn’t because the editing team was at half speed working from home.

In November of 2019, Andy stunned Bravoholics with the news of an upcoming spin-off. The next installation will be in Salt Lake City, Utah. He said that The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City would premiere sometime in 2020. The year is more than half over and RHOSLC has yet to air on Bravo. Fans are getting impatient.

What do we know about RHOSLC so far? Not much!

Rumored Cast List for RHOSLC

Bravo has kept the details of RHOSLC close to the vest. So close, in fact, that they have yet to confirm the stars of the show. However, that doesn’t stop internet chatter.

The Sun isn’t immune to the rumors. In an article from June, the outlet wrote an update on the status of RHOSLC. In the article, they list the casting rumors. According to The Sun, the following six women will be part of the new Real Housewives set in Salt Lake City:

  • Lisa Barlow
  • Jen Shah
  • Heather Gay
  • Meredith Marks
  • Whitney Rose
  • Sara McArthur-Pierce
  • Angie Harrington.

The women have varied career interests, such as interior design and a skincare line, per The Sun.

Instagram Fan Page’s Premiere Date Scoop Shot Down by NBCUniversal

Fans are already full of excitement for a new Real Housewives show. Several fan-created RHOSLC Instagram pages exist. One such fan account, @christiangraysnow, recently shared a seemingly official air date for the upcoming spin-off. On July 28, the Instagram user posted that the show will premiere on Bravo on Tuesday, November, 10, 2020.

Several other fan pages shared the post on social media as an official announcement. But not so fast, says another fan-run account.

On July 29, @housewivesofslc seemingly debunked the premiere date. They shared a post by Sara Weber, a local Salt Lake City reporter. The journalist writes that she contacted Bravo’s parent company, NBCUniversal, about the date. She writes that the network refutes that as the correct date.

However, fans may recall that the premiere date of RHOBH was accidentally leaked before Bravo’s official announcement, as well.

@christiangraysnow also cites The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 13 premiere date as December 6, 2020. People reports that viewers will see two new faces when RHOA returns. Bravo has yet to confirm, but reportedly, actress Drew Sidora and Canadian YouTube star LaToya Ali are joining RHOA

The Real Housewives fan page also lists the RHOC premiere date as TBD. RHOC is currently filming Season 15 after a production shutdown in March due to COVID-19.

The Real Housewives of Potomac returns Sunday, August 2, for Season 5.
