Lauren Burnham Given Eternity Ring From ‘Bachelor’ Arie Luyendyk Jr. Following Pregnancy Loss
2020 has been rough all around. Bachelor couple Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Lauren Burnham are no exception to that. They announced recently that Lauren had suffered a miscarriage. They’ve had a difficult time dealing with it all and now Arie is trying to lift her spirits. He bought her some beautiful new bling to add to her already impressive ring finger.
Arie gives Lauren a ring as a symbol
Lauren went to Instagram to show off her new ring. And, it is absolutely gorgeous. The post shows his arms wrapped around her with her holding his arm displaying her rings.
She said, “some of you have noticed i’ve added a band to the stack & requested that I talk about it, so here goes! @ariejr recently gave it to me. this eternity band symbolizes that we will always have each other in our darkest times…if you’ve been here for the last couple of months you’ll know that we recently had a period of that. i think it’s safe to say he gets husband of the year. 😉

Their recent loss
Arie and Lauren recently shared she suffered a miscarriage. It has now been two months since she lost their second child. The two know in the future they do want to try again and add more children to their family.
Lauren had been attending an ultrasound when the screening showed her at 5 weeks when she should have been eight. The doctor tried to explain it wasn’t necessarily bad and they would have to continue to monitor. Her hormone levels continued to grow so they still had hope. When she went back for a followup the ultrasound showed only 5 days more progression. Further evaluation showed she had lost the baby.
Lauren and Arie married in January 2019. They already share daughter, Alessi. She was born in May 2019.
While they are both anxious to grow their family, they are also wondering how soon they should try again. Lauren knows they should wait a few months. However, she also wonders how she could love another baby as much as Alessi. Arie feels the same way. It’s a fear many parents go through.
