The Las Vegas Review Journal shared details about Zak and the crews trip to Oklahoma. Ghost Adventures just wrapped up a week of filming in Oklahoma. The crew was at the Greater Wynnewood Exotic Animal Park. Of course most know now this is also known as the Tiger King Zoo.

According to the report, Zak and the boys were filming for their annual Halloween special. While there, Bagans obtained artifacts to bring back to the museum. He said, “Some of those artifacts are personal effects that used to belong to Joe Exotic and his husband, Travis, who shot himself at the zoo.” This is referring to Travis Maldonado. Travis committed suicide and this was shown on the Tiger King documentary.  Zak also said,  “Other items will be pieces involving documented paranormal events during our investigation.”

What did Bagans obtain?

TMZ also shared details about Zak’s new found treasures. A few of the items he got are the jeweled crown, pill bottles, flashy clothing, wedding trinkets, and Travis Maldonado’s glass pipe. And, he also is now the owner of park’s original ‘Exotic Animal Park’ signage. It features some cool tiger imagery. Plus, there is a section of an art mural wall featuring a bullet hole from Travis’ suicide.

While on location the boys had some excitement. Zak brought in cadaver dogs to help with their investigation. The dogs alerted and sniffed what was originally thought to be human remains.  When the news broke, Zak tweeted the story and shared a photo on Instagram. They were hoping to possibly come across the remains of Carole Baskin’s husband, Don Lewis. Local law enforcement was brought in, but no human remains were found. However, there were remains of what appeared to be a small animal that were discovered.

Joe Exotic is currently serving a prison term. He has been accused of hiring someone to kill Carole Baskin. Carole was recently granted the zoo property and current owner Jeff Lowe has 120 days to vacate.

After his week in Oklahoma Zak tweeted, “I will never EVER forget the week I just had.”

Stay tuned for more details as they become available.
