Tahj Mowry Says Naya Rivera Is His ‘First Love,’ Still In Love With Her To This Day
Tahj Mowry wrote a heartfelt message for missing actress Naya Rivera. He revealed that she was his “first love.” On Instagram, he posted an emotional post in honor of the Glee actress. Authorities are continuing their search for Naya, who disappeared on Wednesday, July 8 during a boating trip with her son.
Meanwhile, her ex-boyfriend wrote a sad tribute to the actress. He wishes they got back together. Tahj is the brother of twin sisters Tia and Tamera Mowry. He shared the post on Instagram alongside a black-and-white photo of the missing actress.

As per People, Tahj Mowry took to Instagram to post a tribute to missing actress Naya Rivera. The 34-year-old posted a photo of the 33-year-old actress alongside his beautiful message.
“My sweet Naya – to say that I am devasted would be an understatement,” Tahj wrote. “This is a nightmare. Everyday gets harder. However, I am holding onto hope that you will be found.”
The former couple knew each other since they were children. They became friends and fell in love. In his message, Tahj wrote that no one else has “ever measured up to what you gave me or how you made me feel.” He also revealed that he “never stopped loving” Naya. Tahj still has hope that Naya is safe and sound.

He went on to extend his thoughts and prayers to the actress’s family. He wrote that he’s there for them, no matter what. They were like family to him. Tahj asked followers to support Naya’s ex-husband, Ryan Dorsey, and her son, Josey. As he concluded his loving tribute, Tahj said that he wishes he “got the chance to tell” Naya how much she means to him.
“I look forward to the day where I can see your beautiful face once more and tell you everything I’ve wanted to say that I didn’t get to say,” Tahj wrote.
Tahj is the latest celebrity to write about Naya. He joins a long list of stars, including Demi Lovato and former Glee co-star Heather Morris.
Authorities continue the search for Naya Rivera
The Ventura County Sheriff’s Office continued their search for Naya Rivera this weekend. The actress is presumed dead after drowning at Lake Piru in California. The area is known for its reported disappearances and drownings.
“The search for Naya Rivera continues at Lake Piru,” the Ventura County Sherriff’s Office tweeted on Saturday afternoon, as per NBC News.

The search has turned into a recovery effort on Thursday, July 9, with more than 100 people from several agencies involved.
In addition, authorities released footage on Friday night of rescuers using a remotely operated underwater vehicle (ROV) to search the murky waters.
Naya went boating with her 4-year-old son at the lake on Wednesday afternoon. The boat returned with her son found asleep and alone with his life jacket on. Naya left hers on the boat. Josey told authorities that she went for a swim and never returned. Josey returned to his father.
