’90 Day Fiance’ Star Nicole Nafziger Mommy-Shamed, Robbalee Fights Back
90 Day Fiance fans mommy-shamed Nicole Nafziger. They accused her of abandoning her daughter May. It’s been four months since Nicole left the U.S. to visit her fiancé Azan Tefou in Morocco. But she can’t return to the U.S. due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Her mom, Robbalee Nafziger, still has Nicole’s back even if they have a difficult relationship. Fans know that Robbalee doesn’t go along with everything that Nicole does. But she does understand that her daughter is an adult woman who makes her own decisions.
And she’ll support her daughter at whatever cost. She fought back against critics who claim that Nicole left her daughter with her mom.
Nicole Nafziger’s mom defends her daughter against critics
According to Ashley’s Reality Roundup, Robbalee Nafziger fired back at 90 Day Fiance critics. She announced on Instagram that her other daughter, Taylor, is having a baby girl. 90 Day Fiance fans congratulated Nicole’s mom. Meanwhile, some of them shaded her daughter for saying she left May behind amid the pandemic.
“Congratulations! I bet Taylor will be an amazing mommy and actually keep her daughter unlike Nicole who gave hers away for a guy who married his cousin,” one online troll wrote.
Robbalee clapped back at the critics. She revealed that the rumors that Azan is married and has children with his cousin are not true. The 90 Day Fiance mom also responded to those who claim that Nicole abandoned her only child. She feels that Nicole’s trip is the perfect time to make memories with May.

“There was no abandonment,” Robbalee wrote. “She (May) is getting to spend time with her grandparents while her mommy is away. There is a lot more to this story than a simple answer. I am grateful for the time I get to spend with May, many grandparents don’t get this much time or get to make this many wonderful memories.”
However, some people would beg to differ. Some fans wondered if Nicole chose Azan over May. Nicole has been criticized before for her parenting skills.
90 Day Fiance star responds to her mom’s support
She also defended the 90 Day Fiance star, saying that even though she’s in Morocco, she’s still deeply involved in May’s life. Robbalee revealed that Nicole hasn’t abandoned her child to be with her man. Also, it wouldn’t be wise for Nicole to travel back to her home state amid the ongoing pandemic. As of Saturday, July 11, Florida reported over 10,000 cases and 4,000 deaths.
“Nicole Facetimes with May almost every day,” Robbalee wrote. “They watch TV together or she shows her the peppers that grow in the garden. Right now Florida is not even a safe place to come home to, when it is safe to travel she looks forward to coming home.”

Nicole also shot back at critics. In the past few months, she claimed that she can’t afford an airplane ticket to return home. Last week, she thanked her mom for taking care of May since she “can’t” come home.
“Missing my mom so much,” Nicole wrote on Instagram. “She is the best mom and grandma out there. Thank you for taking care of my little girl since I can’t come back home yet.”
She also asked her followers to stop the judgment and gossip. Nicole hasn’t revealed when and if she plans to return to the United States.
