World’s Smallest Woman debuts on TLC on July 9. Jyoti Amge, who fans already know from American Horror Story: Freak Show, appears in the new spinoff series. And, she sounds as excited as her fans. Plenty of people follow the world’s smallest woman on Instagram. In fact, she celebrated 50k followers yesterday. Many followers expressed how happy they felt that they found her on the platform.

TLC brings three shows that share the lives of little people. Little People, Big World‘s long-running, and fans learned to love the 7 Little Johnstons family as well. Then, The Little Couple also garnered loads of fans. If you think that Dr. Jen Arnold’s a tiny little person, well, rethink that. Jyoti Amge tops out at just 24.7in, according to the Guinness Book of Records. She’s so tiny because she was born with a rare genetic disorder known as achondroplasia. The disease prevents normal bone growth.
Fans recall that she played the role of Ma Petite in Season 4 of American Horror Story: Freak Show. Now, fans see the young actress (26) in the TLC special, World’s Smallest Woman. Born in Nagpur, India, she went to the USA in the hope of continuing her acting career. The TLC series chronicles her time in the USA. On her Instagram, she sounds very excited about the show.

On Instagram, three days ago, Jyoti shared the good news about her TLC show. She said, “Many people ask me what it’s like to be the world’s smallest woman. See what a day in my life is like on my new @TLC Special…MEET JOYTI airs this THURS, JULY 9TH 10/9c. I’m so excited to have you all join me!#ExtraordinaryPeopleOnTLC #TLC 😍Thank You 😍. On a live that she shared on Instagram, a fan said, “Hello Jyoti! Can’t wait to see the TLC show!” Well, Jyoti feels the same way. She replied, saying, “yes Me too.”
New fans of the World’s Smallest Woman flock to follow her on Instagram. And, it’s no wonder. In another post on Instagram, she mentioned one preview clip racked up five million views. The series only brings three episodes. But, it looks like fans already hope for much more in the future. Hopefully, TLC gives Jyoti her own show as fans hear rumors that Little People, Big World might soon wind to a conclusion. The market’s right for someone like Jyoti. For over a decade, the Roloff family and others made people aware that being small presents challenges others don’t face. But, courage and determination help them overcome their disadvantages.
In the preview, Jyoti goes shopping and tells the shop assistant her clothing size is “three months.” And she reveals that a standard bowling ball weighs more than her. But while she’s got a giant personality and faces life in a giant world, she also went to the USA because of health complications.
