Lisa Rinna knows how to rile people up on social media. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star joked that she was running for president. This comes after Kanye West took to Twitter to announce his political aspirations on Saturday, July 4. Rinna wanted to poke fun at Kanye by announcing that she’s running for President of the United States.

The Bravo star has a good sense of humor about things. She knows how to take controversy and turn it into a joke. In her latest Instagram post, the fashion designer announced her presidency. Of course, she didn’t have to say, but it was clear that she was poking fun at Kanye.

Lisa Rinna announces she’s running for president

As per The Blast, Lisa Rinna took to Instagram to share a Photoshopped image of her in front of the American flag. The photo included her trademark phrase, “OWN IT” and “Rinna 2020.” In the caption, the RHOBH star wrote, “#RinnaforPresident #Rinna2020.” She already has support from one big name.

“Wouldn’t surprise me at all,” fashion designer Marc Jacobs commented in the post. While it’s not a full backing for Rinna, his comment proves that she’s passionate about politics. Some RHOBH fans said that it would be historic to see Kanye, Rinna, and Trump’s name on the 2020 ballot. They would also love to watch the trio take part in the debates.

“A Trump, Rinna, West Presidential debate would be the most iconic thing to happen on TV,” one fan wrote.

While Rinna was clearly joking, a few fans know how she should run the country. One fan suggested that Rinna should make international leaders dance with her in the Oval Office. Another fan said that she should give “1 hotdog” to each American for each year of her term. Some fans love the idea of First Husband, Harry Hamlin.

Kanye West announces his presidential campaign

Lisa Rinna was clearly inspired by Kanye West. The rapper made the announcement on Twitter over the weekend. He said that he entered the race for President of the United States.

“We must now realize the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision and building our future,” he tweeted on the fourth of July. “I am running for president of the United States! #2020VISION.”

However, Kanye hasn’t done the proper paperwork to get his name on the ballot. He also missed the deadline to register in certain states. Since the election is in November, he would need to register with the Federal Election Commission.

RHOBH star reveals QVC is trying to silence her political views

Lisa Rinna has been outspoken about politics on Instagram. She’s been especially vocal about the Black Lives Matter protests. But the television personality claims that QVC has tried to silence her political views. As TV Shows Ace previously reported, she revealed she was “muzzled” because of her beliefs.

“I am sad to report It would seem I can’t use my platform to inform or question or say how I feel politically because the Karen’s have bombarded Qvc begging them to fire me and saying they will no longer buy my clothes [sic],” Rinna wrote in her Instagram Stories.

She concluded her message by telling her followers to “Use your voice and Vote.”

The reality star showed her support for the LBTQ community and the Black Lives Matter movement on Instagram, as per Page Six. She also shared a meme that showed her support for many movements, including climate change, immigration, and women’s rights.

Rinna later wrote on her Instagram Stories, “I have decided not to shut up ever.”

QVC has not responded to Lisa Rinna’s claims.
