Hilary Duff had plenty to say on July 4th. She slammed the partiers who didn’t wear masks amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Additionally, Hilary called out Kanye West. The 32-year-old took to Instagram on Saturday, July 4 to fire shots at everyone.
No one was safe in Hilary’s reach. She kicked off her fiery post by sharing photos of herself with her husband, Matthew Koma, and their daughter Banks, 1. The Younger star revealed that she had a low-key holiday this year. She and her family celebrated the fourth of July with a few walks, a nap, and then a drive around their neighborhood.
Hilary Duff calls out “embarrassing” partiers for not wearing masks
The former child star is not happy. Hilary Duff slammed people for celebrating July 4th in public without masks, as per Us Weekly. She encouraged Americans to take the coronavirus pandemic more seriously. The Lizzie McGuire alum explained that she noticed a lot of people not heeding precautions during the holiday. Most of her neighbors didn’t wear masks and didn’t practice social distancing.
“Drove by a raging house party on Mulholland,” Hilary wrote. “A**holes. No masks (of course). Girls in bathing suits and Louboutins waiting to get in like a line at a club. After @matthewkoma and I told Banks she’s too cool to ever need to do that we were steaming.”

We took two walks today. Took a family nap. Took a drive. Drove by a raging house party on Mulholland. Assholes. No masks (of course). Girls in bathing suits and louboutins waiting to get in like a line at a club 🙄 After @matthewkoma and I told Banks she’s too cool to ever need to do that we were steaming…California is in bad shape (in so many ways) but doesn’t everyone think we all want to go out freely and travel and enjoy summer🤷🏼♀️ It really seems like Americans just don’t care about each other…somehow this pandemic has turned into a political stance between parties…that’s a head scratcher for me. Other countries have come together in a beautiful way to contain or be Covid free. It’s embarrassing that we are worse than ever because people need to party and Karens won’t wear masks! Oh and I’m running for President.
California has seen a rise in coronavirus cases over the past few days. The actress addressed the situation in her state and slammed those who “go out freely and travel and enjoy summer.” Hilary added that “Americans just don’t care about each other,” while other countries “have come together in a beautiful way to contain or be COVID free.”
“It’s embarrassing that we are worse than ever because people need to party and Karens won’t wear masks!” she added.
Younger star fires back at Kanye West
Hilary Duff wasn’t done with slamming people. She concluded her post by adding, “Oh and I’m running for President.” It appeared to be a joke about Kanye West announcing his 2020 presidential bid on the fourth of July, as per The Blast.
Hilary came for the rapper after he revealed his plans to run in 2020. The Yeezy founder has talked about his presidential aspirations before. However, he said that he would run in 2024. Now it looks like Kanye has had a change of heart. He casually mentioned his “#2020VISION” views on Twitter on the fourth of July.
We must now realize the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision and building our future. I am running for president of the United States 🇺🇸! #2020VISION

Kanye’s tweet received mixed response. The Disney star seemingly threw shade at Kanye in her own Instagram post. He revealed his plan to run for President by writing, “We must now realize the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision and building our future. I am running for president of the United States! #2020VISION.” His message was backed by billionaire Elon Musk and his wife Kim Kardashian West.
Hilary Duff is joking about her foray into politics. But some fans would say she has more experience, given her role on The Disney Channel movie Cadet Kelly.
