Alex Menache Shows Support For Kristen Doute After ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Firing
Alex Menache showed support for his new girlfriend Kristen Doute. This comes almost a month after Bravo fired her and Stassi Schroeder. He defended his lady from the online trolls. Kristen has received a lot of backlash since a racial incident involving former castmate Faith Stowers came to light.
The Vanderpump Rules alum issued an apology on her Instagram. She promised to “do better.” But VPR fans aren’t buying it. And they don’t like that she’s speaking out about politics on social media. In recent days, Kristen addressed cancel culture and medical marijuana. Alex came to her defense, telling the haters to back off.
Former Vanderpump Rules star gets support from Alex Menache
Alex Menache paid tribute to his girlfriend on Instagram, as per The Blast. On Tuesday, June 30, he posted a photo of himself kissing her cheek as Kristen Doute stuck out her tongue at the camera. The photo was taken during good times when the former reality star looked carefree. However, Alex revealed that she’s been under stress these past few weeks.
“This woman has been put thru the ringer these last few weeks and has taken it like a champ,” Alex wrote in the caption. “Anyone that knows you knows your heart is pure and kind. She has dealt with it with grace and strength.”

He further added that Kristen “is putting in the work behind the scenes.” Alex concluded his post by writing, “I honor you @kristendoute and will always be your #1 big idiot fan!” Shortly after, he set his Instagram profile to private.
She spoke out for the first time since her firing. While she admits she’s “immature,” she’s not a “hateful” person. She received major backlash for speaking out about the scandal in the first place. Some VPR fans told her that she should “properly” apologize to Faith if she wants to stick to her word.
Kristen Doute and Stassi Schroeder are on speaking terms
Kristen has maintained a low profile since her firing. But the couple was spotted at their former castmates’ Tom Schwartz and Katie Maloney’s home on June 24 for Stassi’s 32nd birthday. She attended the private party with flowers in one hand and treats in the other. This outing revealed that Kristen and Stassi – who have feuded on Season 8 of VPR – made amends with each other.
“Stassi and Kristen have been talking more and more,” an insider told Us Weekly during the time. “While they wouldn’t consider themselves ‘best friends’ at the moment, their personal drama with each other has taken a backseat and they’ve been able to reconnect a little and be there for one another.”
Former Bravo personality had to defend herself on social media
On Monday, June 29, Kristen Doute defended herself on Twitter after speaking out for the legalization of medical marijuana. While her tweets were met with support by fans, others slammed her for “tweeting about a random issue” in a state she doesn’t reside in. But Kristen fired back by revealing her connection to Idaho, per Us Weekly.

“My younger brother lives in Idaho. Soldier. Crohn’s,” Kristen wrote. “Prefers not to be medicated with opiates. Speak before you think and when you do, please speak with kindness.”
Bravo fired both Kristen and Stassi on June 9 alongside Max Boyens and Brett Caprioni. All four castmates were under fire for their past racist remarks.
