Wells Adams And Sarah Hyland Update Fans On Wedding Plans
The coronavirus pandemic has stopped many things from happening, including weddings. Bachelor in Paradise bartender and Bachelorette alum Wells Adams is one of many affected by the pandemic. He and fiance Sarah Hyland have put all wedding planning on hold. The Modern Family actress and Wells spoke out about their upcoming nuptials during Monday night’s The Bachelor: The Greatest Seasons — Ever!.
Wells and Sarah talk about their wedding plans
The Bachelor: The Greatest Seasons — Ever!, brought some conversations with contestants from JoJo Fletcher’s season. JoJo chose Jordan Rodgers. She and Jordan planned a wedding in 2021. And, Wells made his debut on JoJo’s season. Things have worked out well for Wells even though she broke his heart back then. He is engaged to the love of his life and waiting to plan their big day.
Entertainment Tonight shared details about what Wells and Sarah had to say about their wedding. Sarah told host Chris Harrison that the pandemic had definitely affected their wedding planning. She said, “No plans as of right now. We’ve put all planning on hold.” She continued, “All of my family is mostly on the East Coast, so for them to fly out… and just ages and of course with my health risks, we want to be as safe as possible.”

Their history
Sarah had the hots for Wells after seeing him on JoJo’s season. The two started talking and dating in 2017. In the summer of 2019, Wells proposed. Sarah happily accepted. They have already had an extravagant engagement party and are looking forward to the next step. Wells admitted previously this would have been about the time they would have started planning, but the pandemic had other plans.
No official date’s carved in stone. In planning their perfect day they want to be sure the virus won’t stick around and ruin it. As far as seeing their big day on television. Wells says probably not. He added, “I think they know I would never do that.”
When talking about their wedding last August, Wells said, “I’ve said it before, everyone is so invested in the next thing. Like, when we were dating, everyone was like, ‘When are you moving in?’ And when we moved in, everyone was like, ‘When are you going to get engaged?’ …It’s like, hold on, don’t forget that the destination isn’t what it’s about, the journey is what’s fun.”

Wells and Sarah are fun to follow on social media
These two are constantly flirting and cracking jokes on social media. Fans love their posts and love their displays of affection for one another. Just yesterday Wells shared photos on Instagram from his time on The Bachelorette. “He said, Sliding on through to show you some pics from my time on The Bachelorette. Don’t miss #thebachelorgoat tonight where @chrisbharrison is gonna rip on me for a solid 30 minutes…deservedly so.”
Sarah replied to his post saying, “You still own this cardigan and I’m obsessed with you 😘.” Wells responded back to her saying, “I’ll wear it and only it tonight 😏.”
