‘VPR’: Brittany Cartwright Calls Jax Her ‘Lobster’ in Sweet Anniversary Post, He Posts Pics of Flowers and a Card

It seems like viewers just saw Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright tie the knot on Season 8 of Vanderpump Rules. However, the wedding actually took place in the summer of 2019. June 29, to be exact. The couple are now celebrating their one-year anniversary as a married couple. They are celebrating together in Brittany’s home state of Kentucky.

VPR Star Jax Taylor Recently Joined His Wife in Kentucky

Earlier this month, Brittany’s mom, Sherri Cartwright, landed in the ICU after a routine bladder surgery went sideways. Brittany quickly went home to Kentucky while Jax stayed in Los Angeles. He partied with former co-stars Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute for Stassi’s birthday.

However, he’s now in Kentucky with his wife. He recently shared photos on his Instagram Stories of him mowing the Kentucky homestead’s lawn.

Brittany’s mom is now out of ICU, but still has a long recovery. In the meantime, Jax and Brittany are taking time out to celebrate their one-year wedding anniversary.

Brittany Posts Sweet Tribute to Her ‘Lobster’

Both Jax and Brittany, along with other VPR stars, have been quiet on their social media. This silence came after the mass firings at Bravo earlier this month. The network let go VPR staples Stassi and Kristen, along with newbies Brett Caprioni and Max Boyens.

Stassi and Kristen’s firings came after former co-star Faith Stowers revealed that they once falsely called the cops on her. The duo reported Faith as someone the police sought for a robbery, but the suspect wasn’t Faith. In the midst of a spotlight on racial injustices at the hands of the police, the network chose to fire the two.

Past racist tweets ended Max and Brett’s Bravo careers.

Stassi recently broke her social media silence to announce that she’s pregnant with a baby girl. Kristen broke hers to ask for prayers for Brittany’s mom and offer congrats to Stassi. Brittany also posted a few times, asking for prayers for her mom. However, she posted those on her Instagram Stories.

On June 29, she made her first post to her regular Instagram in quite a while. She shared a photo from her wedding to Jax a year ago. In the caption, she sweetly pays tribute to her “lobster.” (That’s a Friends reference.)

Additionally, she calls Jax her “best friend.” And thanks him for making her laugh “every single day.”

When the VPR firings went down, Brittany turned off the comment feature on her Instagram posts. Even with no comments, the photo garnered over 33K ‘likes,’ The Blast reports. (Now up to 55K.)

Jax Shares Photos of Flowers and a Card, ‘Happy Anniversary’

Her husband and VPR co-star hasn’t made quite the lovey-dovey post yet. Jax did, however, share a few photos to his Instagram Stories wishing her a happy anniversary.

One photo is a close-up of a bouquet of red-orange flowers and an anniversary card. Brittany is tagged in the photo and Jax writes that he loves her “so much.” He also wishes her a ‘happy anniversary’ at the top of the photo.

Despite having comments turned off, several Instagram Stories show up on Brittany’s page with anniversary wishes from her friends.
