‘VPR’ Star Scheana Shay Reveals ‘Devastating’ Miscarriage
Vanderpump Rules star Scheana Shay is sharing with her fans a sad experience she’s going through. She recently found out she was pregnant but, unfortunately, she lost the baby. As fans know, Scheana has wanted children for years, even going so far as to freeze her eggs to increase her chances.
VPR Star Opens Up About Recent Miscarriage
On a recent episode of her podcast, Scheananigans, Scheana got emotional while talking about recently finding out she was pregnant. The news came around the time her VPR co-star, Stassi Schroeder, revealed her own pregnancy. Stassi confirmed earlier this week that she’s expecting a baby girl with fiancé Beau Clark.
Scheana details how she discovered she was pregnant. After a night of drinking, Scheana felt “sick,” but didn’t give it a second thought until she had a tarot card reading. After the reading, Scheana felt compelled to take a pregnancy test. Her boyfriend, Brock, participated in the test via Facetime.
When the initial test came up positive, Scheana took four more, Us Weekly reports. A quick trip to the doctor confirmed the impossible – she was pregnant! However, Scheana’s joy was sadly short-lived.
While she let her mom and a few close friends in on the secret, she was waiting to tell her dad on Father’s Day. In fact, she was planning on giving him the news with a surfboard reveal. Unfortunately, she never got to do that.
She tells her listeners that during a recent trip to San Diego before Father’s Day, she was “bleeding all weekend.” Another trip to the doctor revealed the sad news – her baby’s heart wasn’t beating. Scheana recounts,
“There was just nothing progressing, nothing going on inside. There were parts that he could see were starting to form, and it just didn’t. So obviously, [that was] just devastating. We were so excited. Gone so quickly. It’s still been a lot to process.”
If that isn’t enough to deal with, Scheana reveals that she’s still waiting to “naturally miscarry” the baby.
Despite her own sad experience, she is “so happy” for her Vanderpump Rules co-star.

As fans know, Scheana getting pregnant naturally is nothing short of a miracle. In fact, she tells her listeners that her doctor has told her it’s “close to impossible.”
Scheana is 35-years-old, which makes conceiving more difficult than if she were younger. The “Good as Gold” singer has been freezing her eggs for almost two years now, hoping to have a baby someday.
She’s undergone two different egg retrieval procedures, which VPR chose not to film. She has, however, talked about it openly on the show.
When Scheana decided to freeze her eggs, she was single and didn’t know what the future held. However, now she is in a relationship with former rugby player Brock Davies. Her recent pregnancy happened naturally.
VPR’s Scheana Talked About Wanting Kids With Boyfriend Brock
Scheana has been dating Brock for nine months now. She recently celebrated his 30th birthday with a sweet Instagram post thanking him for bringing her “spark” back.

It was only a month ago that Scheana opened up to Maria Menounos about wanting kids with Brock. Scheana told the podcast host that twins run in her family. Noting that she wants “at least” two children of her own, she said that she would try for a girl if she had twin boys. Brock has two children from his previous marriage. Scheana has yet to meet them, as they live in Australia with their mom.
The recent Vanderpump Rules firings of Stassi and Kristen Doute leaves fans wondering if Scheana will take on a larger role if Bravo brings the show back for Season 9. You may recall a new story last month where a VPR editor admitted to purposely showing Scheana in a bad light on the show.
