Becca Kufrin told listeners where she stands in her relationship with Garrett Yrigoyen in a conversation with Rachel Lindsay. On their podcast, Bachelor Happy Hour, the two former reality stars talked about race and diversity.

This was a continuation of the conversation they had on their last podcast. It got tense because Garrett Yrigoyen had posted on social media supporting police officers. Becca had repeatedly told Lindsay he didn’t come from a malicious place, which upset her. Kufrin said she didn’t agree with his post, but it still caused Becca some stress.

The post from Garrett read, “hundreds of thousands of men and women of all races that represent this Thin Blue Line,” insisting “it’s important for me to recognize the ones who stand in the gap and put their lives on the line each and every single day for humans of different race and ethnicity, including those who hate them.”

Becca Kufrin Gave Fans An Update On Her Relationship

During the conversation, Becca Kufrin said, “I want to say to our listeners out there because I’m sure many will hear this back and wonder and ask and have opinions. For those who are curious about my relationship with Garrett at this point, all I can say right now is I don’t know.”

Becca went on to say she wanted to give the audience context and to apologize to Rachel. She said, “I wanted to really throw my voice and hat in the ring to say things need to change within the franchise and within myself as well.”

Lindsay said she had wanted what happened to be an example of having two friends with different perspectives not seeing things the same way. She said if Becca is willing to learn, then she’ll teach her, and she’ll help her. Rachel said, “now Garrett, that’s a different situation. I don’t f–k with Garrett. I don’t need to. But you and I have a different relationship and so I appreciate everything that you just said.”

According to Us Weekly, Lindsay said she knew what Garrett thinks from his posts. He posted a black box, but didn’t post Black Lives Matter. She said, “He posted fists of every color, which to me is like, ‘Everybody, all lives.’ And then the very next post is the thin blue line with a heartfelt, thought-out caption that he said with his chest.”

Garrett Yrigoyen Still Wants To Make It Work

On a promotion for Becca Kufrin’s podcast, Garrett Yrigoyen wrote about their disagreement. He said, “love you Becca, it’s unrealistic to sit down and have individual conversations with millions. Don’t let people take away how you truly feel.” He said she should keep growing and being awesome.

He went on to say, “If we can all accept each other and figure out a way to give love instead of hate, converge instead of divide, build instead of destruct, we will all be a much stronger unit!” Fans will continue to tune in to see if Becca and Garrett can work things out.
