‘Unexpected’: Matthew Blevins Stars In Season 4 But Hailey Tilford Booted For Alleged Racism
Unexpected star Matthew Blevins told fans back in November last year that he and Hailey 2 (Tilford) planned no new seasons with TLC. Emphatically, he said, “NO we aren’t being on the next season.” But something changed in the last seven months, as Hailey Tilford now says she planned on being in the upcoming season. However, she got the boot for alleged racist comments on her Instagram. But, she’s really angry as Matthew features in season 4. She says that TLC wanted her son on the show, but not her.
Unexpected – Matthew totally denied he and Hailey 2 would do a new season
When Matthew denied that he and Hailey 2 would feature on another season, she still carried her baby, Levi. At the time, he told fans that they never planned a pregnancy just for the show. Back then, Matthew seemed very excited about his baby “[Matthew] noted that this time around they intend being “the best possible parents [they] can be,” we noted. Matthew said, “I can’t wait to be a daddy to my baby.”‘ But that all changed after Matthew questioned his paternity.
These days, Hailey 2’s new guy, Cole acts in a fatherly role to her son. But, it seems that despite saying no to a new season, Matthew features again in season 4. But, Hailey 2 got left out. Obviously, the couple changed their minds at some stage. It seems Hailey 2 planned on a new Unexpected season as well. But TLC allegedly rejected her for racist comments, The Ashley’s Reality Roundup reported. But, she claimed her account got hacked and she never made those comments.
Hailey 2 – Instagram account compromised earlier this year – TLC found racist comments
In early March, we reported that Hailey 2 went off Instagram or a long time. When she returned, she told fans that “her account got compromised.'” Hailey said that it “took quite some time for Instagram to help her get back online,'” we noted. So, now she says someone made racist comments, perhaps it came during that time. But Starcasm reported that the incident Hailey refers to actually happened way before then. Whenever it happened, she told her fans that TLC doesn’t care about the fact she claimed she never made the comment. So, they dumped her from Season 4.
The Unexpected alum’s Instagram post goes into detail about what went down. In it, she said that someone made a racist comment that she’d never dream of doing. Hailey seems pretty furious because allegedly, TLC still wanted her son Levi in the next season. Notably without her. Hailey’s furious as well because Matthew features on the season. She claimed, “My ex (Levi’s father) has said SEVERAL offensive things all over social media but he is filming on the TV show.” Plus, Hailey claimed, “I have screenshots of him telling me to kill myself while I was pregnant with HIS son.” A fan also complained of something similar that Matthew allegedly said to her.
Hailey 2’s fans seem very disappointed by TLC’s decision
Fans seem terribly disappointed by TLC’s decision. After all, as one fan noted, “they need to push to have your account verified, that would make everything so easy because ive seen several fake pages of you.” Another fan wondered rather helplessly what they could do to help get Hailey 2 back on a season of Unexpected. They asked, “Wow😳how can we fix this? 😪.” Some fans suggested they start a petition. But, fans know TLC seldom takes any notice of them.
