‘DOOL’ Spoilers June 15 – 19: Gabi Tries to Escape Captors While Jake Gets Closer to Finding Her
Days of Our Lives continues with fresh episodes this week. While other soaps are showing classic episodes, things in Salem keep moving forward. What can fans expect to see this week?

DOOL’s Gabi Takes Drastic Measures to Escape; Xander Gets Pulled Into Her Rescue
Gabi (Camila Banus) has been held hostage for over two weeks now on Days of Our Lives. Her captors demand Jake (Brandon Barash) turn over a diary that’s in his ex-girlfriend’s possession. Somehow Xander (Paul Telfer) gets a hold of the diary.
Jake, Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara (Victoria Konefal) struggle to get the book away from Xander and get Gabi back.
As fans know, Gabi’s not one to sit around and wait for rescue. The brunette firecracker plans her escape. We know from spoilers that Gabi is safe in Salem by the end of the week. But does Jake come to her rescue or does she free herself?
Once Gabi is safe, she sets her focus back on proving that Jake is really her dead husband, Stefan DiMera.
Jack and Jennifer Have a Romantic Night While Claire Has a Proposal for Newly Engaged Ciara
DOOL is offering up some romance in June ahead of the four upcoming weddings in July. Jack (Matthew Ashford) presents Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) with a romantic dinner. He wants to distract her from worrying about Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans.)
Meanwhile, a recently released Claire has an odd reaction to the news that Ben and Ciara plan to marry. She asks – begs – Ciara to let her stand at her side as maid of honor. What will Ciara say to such an odd request from the girl who tried to kill her?
John and Marlena Realize Claire Pulled a Fast One on DOOL
While Ciara is reluctant to trust Claire, John (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena (Diedre Hall) realize they shouldn’t have trusted their granddaughter. Last week on DOOL, Claire manipulated Marlena into helping her get out of the mental hospital.
However, Claire’s former roommate at Bayview will come into play for Gabi’s release. While Claire didn’t know at the time, Gwen (Y&R alum Emily O’Brien) is Jake’s ex.
Update on Hospitalized Days of Our Lives Star Judi Evans
As fans may know, Days of Our Lives star and soap icon Judi Evans is having some medical problems. It all started last month when she fell while horseback riding. While in the hospital for treatment for her various broken bones, Judi contracted COVID-19.
As a result, the actress suffered complications that included blood clots in her legs. The surgeries meant to help almost left her as a double leg amputee.
After Judi’s appearance on Good Morning America last week, she received an outpouring of love and support from her fans. Judi thanked fans for their “prayers and support.”

Judi remains in the hospital for the time being. Her manager said last week that she can’t go home until she tests negative for coronavirus.
