Duggar Fans Mix Up Joy And Jessa In New Photo
On Wednesday, Joy-Anna Forsyth took to Instagram to show off her growing baby bump. The Duggar daughter is 30 weeks pregnant and is expecting a baby girl. This is her second child with her husband Austin Forsyth.
As usual, Joy received a lot of love in response to her new post. Her followers are happy to hear that her pregnancy is going well, especially because of her loss in summer 2019. She was 20 weeks along when the doctor couldn’t find her baby’s heartbeat. Though that pregnancy ended tragically, she is expecting again and the baby is healthy.

In between all the well wishes and sweet comments, Duggar fans are also commenting on how similar Joy and her sister Jessa Seewald look. One fan says, “At first I thought that was jessa.” That comment alone received over 70 likes. Another comment says, “You look wonderful! When I first opened my IG I thought you were Jessa lol.”
Yet another Duggar fan says, “I looked at this picture of you and didn’t look at your username and I thought you were Jessa. You look just like her here. Super cute.”
When Jessa was pregnant with Ivy, 1, she shared a mirror picture of herself featuring her baby bump. In the photo, Jessa is wearing a hat, similar to the one Joy is wearing in the new photo. Since the sisters have similar styles in the two photos, it’s possible that has something to do with the mixup.

This isn’t the first time Duggar fans confused Joy for Jessa
In February, fans first saw the similarity between Jessa and Joy in a picture Joy shared. Joy posted a picture on Instagram, featuring herself and her best friend Carlin Bates. The photo is one of the first that Joy shared where she isn’t wearing her glasses. So, that might be why fans especially noticed the similarities between Joy and Jessa.

Of course, as Jessa and Joy are sisters, it’s not a big surprise that they look somewhat alike. Many of the Duggar kids look alike. But, until February, fans didn’t really mention it often. It’s pretty obvious in the photos where Joy isn’t wearing her glasses.
