’90 Day Fiance’ Tell-All Fans Furious At TLC Who Edited Out Lisa Using The N-Word With Usman
90 Day Fiance fans saw leaked Tell-All footage in May. Fans raged about Lisa who used the N-word. In the Tell-All footage, Usman spoke about it. Later, due to fan backlash, he apologized for letting her use the N-word with him. But when the Tell-All aired this week, TLC edited it out. Furious fans lambasted TLC.

Already furious when they saw leaked footage of the Tell-All, fans now express more fury at TLC. After the leaked video, some of them went off and started a petition for Lisa Hamme’s removal from the show. When Usman apologized on Lisa’s behalf, it made them even angrier. Now that the Tell-All didn’t include the scene, fans lambasted TLC. They feel that hiding it shows they tolerate racism on the show. Notably, with the country-wide protests over the death of George Floyd, feelings run higher than normal.
It’s not clear how much, if any, of that N-word scene originally went into the final showing of the Tell-All. Possibly, TLC edited it out given the Black Lives Matter racial issues at the moment. In fact, if they aired it, outrage no doubt would erupt. But the fact they didn’t air it, got fans of the 90 Day Fiance show really heated. To them, it seems TLC simply sweeps racism under the carpet. Some of them noted the firings by Bravo and MTV over racism.
Usman claims Lisa disrespected him but TLC cut it out of the Tell-All
The Blast reminds readers that in the original footage, Usman specifically talked about the N-word. They noted, “Usman told Shaun” that Lisa “constantly” disrespected him. “He said, ;Lisa, last week you called me ni—er which I know is totally inappropriate in America. You called me ni—er, I don’t even get angry about it because I am used to how you are behaving.'” But, fans watching for it in the final viewing of the Tell-All noted the scene simply vaporized.
Reactions came thick and fast. One 90 Day Fiance critic said on Twitter, “Baby Girl Lisa said it wasn’t disrespectful when she called Usman the N word and nobody would know who he was if she didn’t go on the show. She says the people that call her out for racism are ‘the enemy.'” They posted a short clip revealing when she said that. Apart from people slamming Lisa, they also slammed TLC and their advertisers for keeping her on the franchise. And, nobody seemed impressed with Lisa saying people will end up apologizing to her.

Calls against TLC and advertisers
Other people slammed TLC. One person wrote, “@TLC & @90DayFiance is covering and rewarding Baby Girl Lisa for calling Usman the N word. Who are their advertisers? This must end!” Another disgusted 90 Day Fiance fan wrote, “@lifetimetv cut ties with Abby for her racist remarks. @TLC you need to do the same for @lisa_hamme. It came out months ago about her use of the N word and y’all have remained silent! #tlc #whitesilenceisviolence.”
