Stassi Schroeder is under fire for a 2018 incident involving former Vanderpump Rules cast member Faith Stowers. Stassi has been super supportive of the Black Lives Matter movement. She took to her Instagram page this week to support African American fashion and jewelry designers. Stassi also said she’s staying silent and listening to the Black community.

But Stassi’s Instagram posts didn’t sit well with fans. Some of them took to her social media account to point out her past remarks. VPR fans didn’t forget. And four years since leaving the Bravo show, Faith Stowers spoke out about her experience as the only black cast member.

Stassi Schroeder loses partnerships after calling the cops on Faith Towers

During an Instagram Live chat with Floribama Shore star Candace Rice, Faith Stowers recalled the time when Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute called the cops on her. They wanted the cops to investigate her for allegedly drugging men and stealing their belongings.

“There was an article in the Daily Mail where there was an African-American lady,” Faith explained. “It was a weird photo, so she looked very light-skinned and had these different, weird tattoos. I guess this woman was robbing people. And they called the cops and said it was me. This is like, a true story. I heard this from, actually, Stassi during an interview.”

Stassi previously addressed the incident during an interview on a podcast from 2018. Per People, she recalled that she and Kristen compared Faith’s appearance to the security footage and called the police because they were convinced it was her. Stassi claims it was her interest in true crime that inspired her to take this action.

“We are like, we just solved a f***ing crime,” Stassi boasted during the now-deleted episode. “We started calling the police. The police don’t give a f***.”

Kristen later tweeted on social media, writing, “I didn’t wanna go there but I’m going there.” She followed up with a picture of Faith as “proof.”

Stassi Schroeder slammed for past remarks about race

Fans also remember the time when she made insensitive remarks about race. Back in 2017, Stassi asked why racism is such a big deal. “I’m like, really sick of everyone making everything about race,” she said on an old episode of “Straight Up With Stassi.” The 31-year-old went on to ask why everything is about African Americans. She also slammed the Black Lives Matter movement.

“Why aren’t the Asians being like, ‘We’re not represented?” Stassi continued. per Hollywood Life. “Why aren’t, like, Native Americans and Latinos saying, “We’re not represented?’ This is a perfect example of the All Lives Matter argument. Once again, YES, Native American and Latino lives DO matter, they’re just not the ones being targeted and hunted by police at this current time.”

Then Stassi admitted she’s the wrong person to discuss racism. But it’s Stassi’s podcast and she often says things without a filter. It’s part of her “schtick” on Vanderpump Rules. In her book, Next Level Basic, she claims that being outspoken is one of the many things that makes her – her.

On the podcast, the fashion blogger then discussed the 2017 Oscars and said it’s not #SoWhite anymore. She felt that the awards show should focus on acting talent rather than race.

Vanderpump Rules stars loses brand partnerships

Since Faith’s revelation, brands dropped Stassi Schroeder from their partnerships. One of them is the trendy shaving brand Billie. The company told Page Six that they ended their ties with the reality star. On their Instagram page, the company announced that they’re “ending all of our partnerships with anyone who isn’t supporting the fight against racism.”

Second is the vitamin startup Ritual. The company released a statement to Page Six Style. The brand claims it was not aware of Stassi’s past actions and remarks.

“We have ended our partnership with Stassi, and we are committed to doing more thorough diligence on all our brand partners going forward,” a spokesperson told the outlet. “We stand against inequality and racial injustice and under no circumstances will standby and promote partnerships that reflect otherwise.”

Stassi also contributed to her brides-only column for Glamour magazine. This comes amid her wedding to Beau Clark. However, the magazine hasn’t published any of her content since March 11. The magazine has made no plans to, per Page Six Style.

Stassi hasn’t spoken out about the matter. She only took to her Instagram Stories to announce that she won’t release a new episode of “Straight Up With Stassi” in lieu of recent events. But will her podcast even last without any partnerships?

Faith Stowers recalls her time on the Bravo show

Faith Stowers wanted to come forward with her experience on Vanderpump Rules. As fans know, she was the first and only black cast member on the show. She was also one of the women who cheated with Jax Taylor while he was dating now-wife Brittany Cartwright. Faith recalled that both Kristen and Stassi were mean towards her and tried to seek revenge after the cheating scandal erupted, per The Blast.

“They wanted to attack attack attack attack,” Faith explained. “Saying I was wrong, I was this, calling me names, saying my hair was nappy – which was weird coming out of their mouths.”

This comes after the restaurateur declared that she wouldn’t allow racist employees to work for her. This latest complaint from Faith Stowers is just one of many that have surfaced about the Vanderpump Rules cast.
