Whitney now spoke about why she revealed the baby and it turns out she just can’t handle gossip, drama, and the speculation on social media.

Some of them suspect that when the pregnancy came along, it possibly ruined TLC’s storyline After all you can’t hide a baby. Whitney admitted that later. Some fans suspect Buddy Bell might date her in a new season, instead.
News also emerged that Buddy Bell now lives with Whitney during the COVID-19 quarantine. Some people think that adds weight to the theory of a romance between them. Naturally, critics suggest if that happens, then it simply brings more fakery to My Big Fat Fabulous Life. On Reddit, fans pointed out that the baby rumors surfaced a long time before Whitney officially mentioned it. Mind you, other fans find the news intriguing. One said, “This is way more interesting than anything that’s happened on that show in years!” But, Whitney Way Thore hates that sort of drama.

The MBFFL star spoke to People about the baby reveal. During that, she told them that fans got it wrong. She apparently didn’t know about her baby for “month and months.” She told the outlet, “I learned this news myself fairly recently.” Her motivation for the announcement about the baby and the split on Instagram came because she wants to just “move on.” Whitney also talked about all the rumors and gossip.
The No BS Active co-owner said that personally, she preferred not to talk about it all. But, she acknowledged that some people “already knew.” She added, “a baby isn’t something that can remain private in the future.” And, that comes back to fans wondering if the baby bust up TLC’s plans for a new season. Whitney Way Thore also noted that she came out about the baby because “I truly just don’t want the drama and the gossip.”
