In a social media post on Sunday, Jessa Seewald shares a special moment she had with her children. She shares several photos and a lengthy caption.

The post is all about the family going on a walk to visit a local sheep farm. Before they left for the sheep farm, Spurgeon, 4, requested that they bring a hymn book along. Despite Jessa trying to explain that he wouldn’t need it on their walk, he reasoned with her. Spurgeon has done this many times before, and Duggar fans feel that he makes compelling arguments. They think he’s a bright little boy.

Once Jessa, Spurgeon, Henry, 3, and Ivy, 1, arrived at the farm, Spurgeon revealed his plan. He decided that he wanted to sing to the sheep. So, that’s what he did. It’s unclear whether Jessa’s husband Ben Seewald came along, but he isn’t pictured.

At the end of the post, Jessa Seewald talks about how the singing went, saying, “So sing we did! After about three songs, Ivy was getting sleepy and I told him that we’d better be heading home. ‘One more,’ he requested. ‘We will sing for them, and they will be thinking about it when they go to sleep.'”

In response, Duggar fans are absolutely loving the new post. As mentioned, they think Spurgeon is very smart and has a lot of interesting things to say. They also think it’s sweet that he wanted to sing to the sheep. Not many little ones think of doing something like that.

Jessa Seewald shares ‘sayings of Spurgeon’

For a little while now, Jessa has been sharing her favorite quotes from Spurgeon. Duggar fans agree with her that young children have some pretty interesting things to add to a conversation. Jessa uses the hashtag #SayingsofSpurgeon on Twitter and Instagram to document the things Spurgeon says.

And, since Henry is talking more now, Jessa has been sure to create a similar hashtag to keep track of Henry’s sweet sayings. For Henry, she appropriately uses #SayingsofHenry.

Of course, fans often urge Jessa to write all these quotes in a book to look back at them when the boys get older. It’s expected that she will do the same for Ivy once she starts talking too. But, Ivy just turned one, so it will be a little while before fans get to see any of her quotes.
