‘DWTS’ Star Karina Smirnoff Admits Son and Her Moved In With Her Parents Over Anxiety Issues
Dancing With the Stars alumni Karina Smirnoff is a new mom of a little boy. Us Weekly shared that she is revealing she suffers from pretty bad anxiety. Due to this, Karina and her son are now living with her parents. Being a first-time mom isn’t easy.
Karina Smirnoff explains what is going on
Karina Smirnoff shared what made her move in with her parents. She said, “I love babies, but when I would come to my friends who had a newborn and they were like, ‘Here, hold,’ and I’m like, ‘Oh my gosh, how do I?” She was afraid that when her son was born she wouldn’t know what to do right away.

She was worried about what to do so moving in with her parents was the best move. That does mean that they are all in the same house dealing with the COVID-19 quarantine. That can be a bit hard for anyone. She shared a few details.
“I think when you are not used to living with your parents for a long time as an adult and then suddenly you are, wow, that’s a whole different set of skills that you have to attain. And I love them to death, they’ve been so incredibly helpful and I wouldn’t be able to do it without them, but that’s 24-7 in closed doors.”
Karina’s life now
Right now, Karina Smirnoff’s little boy is just seven weeks old. She has actually been pretty quiet about her son when it comes to social media and the press. The fans would love to see her on Dancing With the Stars again, but you never know who will be on that show. They like to change it up now and then.
Right now, Karina is pretty busy being a new mom. She has also shared on her Instagram about doing an event to talk about mental health.
