Brett Otto and Daya De Arce first met online and featured on Season 2 of 90 Day Fiancé. Brett is from Washington and saw Filipina Daya online and fell totally in love. The couple married in 2015 and welcomed their baby girl, Isabella (Izzy) in July 2017. The couple is now starring on 90 Day Fiancé: Self-Quarantined and told fans they are doing well and explained how they make it work.

Brett was already the father of his daughter, Cassidy from a previous marriage and he and Daya have been married for five years. Life became even better when they had their daughter, Isabella, in July 2017. The pair has successfully overcome a number of obstacles along the way.

In the flashback video included here, Brett says he thought he didn’t have a chance with Daya and that she is gorgeous. Daya then speaks, saying she found Brett totally attractive too, so it was a good beginning!

On the May 18 episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Self-Quarantined, Brett and Daya shared an update about their happy relationship. On that date, the couple celebrated Daya’s birthday with their daughter, Izzy, safely locked down together.

It hasn’t been easy for Brett and Daya in recent months, as Brett has been out of work. However, he has been staying home, while Daya helps to keep them going. The TLC reality star is working night shifts as a medication technician in a local assisted living facility.

Brett and Daya on how to have a healthy relationship

The happy couple is asked how they kept the spark going with all the big life changes. Brett explains that the one thing they are doing differently to maintain their relationship is to spend more time talking. He says they love going on drives and spending a lot of time together. He said it’s cool, as before, he took a lot of their time for granted.

When Brett and Daya are not on the show, Brett keeps everyone up to date on his blog. He revealed the family went to the Philippines in October 2019 to visit her family. His latest blog entry revolves around Cassidy turning 12. He says, as a father, he looks at that milestone with “joy and excitement.” Brett talks about how rewarding it has been to watch her grow up over the years.

“In everything that Cassidy does, she walks away with beautiful memories and experiences,” Brett added. “That’s what life is all about and I thank God every day that despite being divorced from Cassidy’s mom, both of our families still facilitate an environment of love, support and encouragement for our princess and her siblings.”
