Meghan King reverted back to her maiden name. She desperately wants to move on from her split from Jim Edmonds. That’s because she has a new man in her life. She’s reportedly quarantining with her new boyfriend Christian Schauf.
People was the first to confirm that the Real Housewives of Orange County alumna has been dating the 39-year-old businessman from Park City, Utah. Reports of their new relationship made headlines earlier this week.
Meghan previously revealed that she wanted to meet a man the old-fashioned way. She even removed the dating apps from her phone. It looks like she has already found her dream man.
Meghan King and Christian Schauf had “instant chemistry,” source says
An insider told People that Meghan King and her new boyfriend Christian Schauf had “instant chemistry.” Although reports of her new boyfriend went viral, an insider told the outlet that the couple is still in the early stages of their relationship.
“They met back in March through a mutual friend,” the source said. “Things are still pretty new, but it’s going very well so far.”
A second insider told People that the pair had “instant chemistry” and “a lot in common.” Meghan is enjoying this new relationship. She was previously quarantining with her three children. She admitted on Instagram how difficult it’s been on her. Her children are now staying with ex-husband Jim Edmonds in St. Louis.

“She just got out of a long relationship and has a lot on her plate,” the insider revealed.
This has been a great break from that stress for her. It’s nice to see her so happy and wish someone who appreciates her the way she should be.”
Meghan shares three children – Aspen, 3, and twin boys Hart and Hayes, 1 – with her estranged husband. However, she hasn’t gone Instagram official with her new boyfriend. The two are quietly staying together in Utah while Jim has scheduled time with the kids.

Per E! Online, it’s not clear how Meghan King and Christian Schauf met. He’s an entrepreneur who hosts the Life Uncharted podcast. He’s also the founder of Uncharted Supply Company, which sells emergency preparedness kits.
According to Christian’s website, he refers himself as “a serial adventurer, athlete, entrepreneur and philanthropist… In his downtime he lends aid to those in need, performs charity work in the world’s most dangerous cities, and chases adventure in every sense of the word.”

While Meghan hasn’t discussed her new boyfriend, she did reveal what she’s looking for in a partner on her Intimate Knowledge podcast.
I just want a partner who is supporting me and isn’t jealous or trying to suppress. Someone who grows with me instead of staying stagnant at a certain place. To me, that’s intimacy. I just need that partner next to me who’s going to hold my hand and sees me.”
This comes after Meghan and Jim split in October 2019 after five years of marriage. Jim has also moved on. He’s currently dating Kortnie O’Connor.
