Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz revealed that they’re finally “ready” to have a baby. This comes after the constant pregnancy rumors that Katie had to put to rest. This was insulting to the Vanderpump Rules star who just lost over 20 pounds from her new lifestyle. She had to do an overhaul on her entire diet.
The Bravo star dealt with body-shaming in the past. But now she’s feeling much better in her body. Katie has gotten a better understanding of health and wellness. Now that she’s healthier than ever, she can focus on expanding her family with husband Tom Schwartz.
Vanderpump Rules couple tease their future baby plans
Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz spoke exclusively to HollywoodLife.com about their baby plans. They revealed that they could try for a baby sooner rather than later. The married couple will celebrate their fourth wedding anniversary in August. Katie and Tom were asked if they’re thinking of expanding their family this year.
“I think you might be right,” Tom admitted. “I’m ready.”
“Yeah!” Katie responded enthusiastically.
Katie and Tom had their share of ups and downs for eight seasons on the Bravo series. They even ended up married twice. Their first wedding was aired in August 2016. Lisa Vanderpump officiated their wedding. Then it was reported that Tom forgot to file the paperwork, which means their marriage wasn’t legally binding.
The couple married for the second time this season. This time, they headed to Las Vegas to make their marriage official. Stassi Schroeder and Tom Sandoval set their differences aside to kick off the festivities. Katie and Tom also required everything to dress in random costumes.
Katie Maloney is in a positive mindset these days
The former SUR staffer is looking different these days. Katie Maloney has gone through her share of positives, including a weight loss transformation. She lost up to 25 pounds, which she felt was important to do before getting pregnant.
“Yeah, of course, it’s important,” Katie said. “Everything has to do with that because I mean, you want to be able to get your body in a good, healthy place and make sure that it’s working.”
Tom is inspired by Katie’s positivity. But it’s been hard for him amid the coronavirus pandemic. TomTom is still closed due to California’s shutdown. Although he has a lot of free time, intimacy isn’t on his mind.
“So we’ve been, we’ve been slacking on the baby making practice department,” Tom admitted. “We’re ready. Little Baby Bubba!”
Tom and Katie have been working on their Cameo videos instead. They want to reach out to followers during this time of social distancing. The couple is also raising money for restaurant employees who lost their jobs during the global pandemic.
Reality star reveals she didn’t lose weight by “dieting”
Per People, Katie Maloney revealed that she changed her diet since she’s sensitive to insulin. The 33-year-old star took to her Instagram Story on Sunday, May 17 to talk about her new lifestyle. Katie responded to a fan who said she looked “amazing” and asked her if she lost any more weight.
“I have, and thank you,” Katie told the outlet. “I’ve lost a little over 20 pounds. It feels good.”
The television personality originally cut alcohol and sweets from her diet, but it didn’t work. She spoke with her medical professional and that’s how she found out that it’s a pre-diabetic issue. Katie’s been working with a nutritionist who helped her “understand how to eat for my metabolism, especially with being insulin resistant or insulin-sensitive.”
Now she has a better understanding of what foods are good for her. Katie insists that she’s “not dieting,” she just has “a wealth of knowledge on what kind of foods to be eating.” But she’s still going to enjoy the foods and drinks that she loves. She’s just doing everything in moderation.
