‘Teen Mom OG’: Catelynn And Tyler Tell Carly She’s ‘Loved’ On Her Birthday
Teen Mom OG stars, Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra gave up their eldest daughter Carly for adoption in 2009. Still teens at the time, they enjoy an open adoption scenario. But thing soured a bit when her adoptive parents, Brandon and Theresa demanded less of Carly on the reality TV Show. That means they see less of Carly but she’s still well-loved, the couple said in their birthday greeting.
Teen Mom OG – Carly turns 11, Catelynn and Tyler wish her happy birthday
On Monday, Carly turned 11-years-old. Both Catelynn and Tyler took to their Instagram accounts and wished her a wonderful day. Sharing throwback photos, they said how much they loved her. Catelynn wrote, “May 18th 2009 at 10:39am you took your very first breath.” She noted that Carly’s arrival “changed her” in so many different ways.” On her birthday, Catelynn added, “Happy Birthday my sweet Carly… I love you big as the sky ❤️.”
Meanwhile, Teen Mom OG dad Tyler wrote, “11 years ago I watched you take your first breath.” He recalled how they held her and “gazed” at her face. Tyler described her as “angelic.” He also noted that she “changed so many lives for the better. ” Finally, Tyler ended with, “Happy Birthday Carly, you are forever loved by so many! ❤️😭.”

Sweet sentiments, but things changed a bit with the dynamic and Caryl’s adoptive parents
TV Shows Ace reported in September last year, that Tyler and Catelynn spoke with Brandon and Theresa along with Dr. Drew. The couple seemed over the moon that all the parents enjoyed a good relationship. E!News reported that “Tyler expressed his thanks.” He said that with their involvement with Carly, they “couldn’t have really asked for anything more, honestly.'” However, something changed since then. And, it’s not clear the new issue ever got fully resolved.
We also reported in March this year, that the dynamic changed. The couple mostly spends time with Carly in the summer months. And, that fits in with filming for the MTV show. But Brandon and Theresa don’t want Carly on the Teen Mom OG show. In fact, they prefer raising her more privately. That meant more negotiations for visits during different months. Sounding rather disappointed, Catelynn posted about it on Twitter, and referred fans to an article by Celebuzz,
That confirmed they’d see less of Carly on the Teen Mom OG show. Catelynn captioned it with, “I am saddened, but the news about Carly is true.”
