Kyle Richards is over the drama on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. She feels that it’s too much to handle. The Bravo reality series kicked off last month into high gear. And the show has delivered on its promise.
But it can be a little too much, even for Kyle sometimes. In an interview with People Now, the RHOBH OG addressed the drama this season. Read on to learn about Kyle feels about the reality show.
RHOBH star feels like the drama is too much this season
Kyle Richards told People Now that the drama is too much. But fans can’t get enough. Most of them have been tuning in week-after-week to see what the women will argue about now. Kyle told People Now she sometimes gets emotionally overwhelmed by all the drama.
“It’s so hard shooting reality television and you’re with this whole big group and all of a sudden the entire group… it felt like to me like [they] decided to come at me or stick together no matter what.”
Kyle couldn’t especially handle the drama at Denise Richards’s dinner party. The producer of People Now asked if she felt that the drama was calculated. While Kyle didn’t directly answer the question, she doesn’t understand why some of her fellow cast members weren’t on her side. They previously shared a different stance with her behind the scenes.
“I just didn’t understand that the people who agreed with me off camera were all of a sudden chiming in,” Kyle explained. “I didn’t have one person understanding what I was saying and honestly, it gets to be too much sometimes. We’ve seen it over these 10 years where it’s a lot and, you know, we’re human. We get sensitive. We get our feelings hurt and like I said, I was exhausted. I wasn’t equipped to deal with all this.”
She also admitted that when someone says, “I’m not doing this,” what they really mean is that they don’t want to film the show during that moment. Kyle says her biggest regret stems from calling Denise a “ragamuffin.” She was so exhausted and emotional during that dinner that she wasn’t prepared for everyone to pile on her. So, Kyle made some remarks about her co-stars that she now regrets.
Kyle Richards finds herself in the middle of RHOC drama
The RHOBH star can’t seem to avoid the drama. In an interview with Us Weekly, she responded to RHOC alums Tamra Judge and Vicki Gunvalson calling her boring during a previous interview with the outlet.
“Well, A) they don’t know how much money I make. B) Like I say, I don’t play it safe,” Kyle responded. “I’ve had a lot of issues over these years, 10 years, a lot of them.”
Kyle wants to focus on being herself. She doesn’t want to be on the show “just for TV purposes.” The reality star also threw some shade at Tamra and Vicki’s antics.

“That does not include getting drunk and putting my tongue in another married woman’s mouth,” she said. Of course she’s referring to Tamra’s drunken tryst with co-star Braunwyn Windham-Burke. “On or off camera.”
The former stars of The Real Housewives of Orange County didn’t hold back on their feelings about Kyle during an Instagram Live chat earlier this month. A fan asked for their opinion on their fellow Bravo co-stars. When asked about the fashion designer, Tamra called her “kind of vanilla.”
“I don’t see any conflict, like I just see her, like, playing the safe lane always,” Vicki added.
