Today, I had the pleasure to be around the amazing staff at Children’s Hospital Colorado. I was finally able to donate my convalescent plasma/blood in hopes that it is used for patients recovering from Covid-19 and research purposes. It was meaningful to be able to make the donation to a hospital that has played a role in my life these last few years and is familiar to me. Thank you again to the doctors and nurses that put in so much effort day in and day out to figure this thing out. I’m looking forward to seeing you again soon for round 2!
He also shared two photos. One of them shows himself next to a healthcare worker and another photo of himself holding up his plasma donation to the camera. Colton calls the experience “meaningful” and teased that he will donate more in the future.
On March 20, Colton announced that he tested positive for coronavirus. He was open and honest about his various symptoms on social media. Some of Colton’s symptoms included difficulty breathing, exhaustion, and night sweats.
