Andy Cohen Comes To Scheana Shay’s Defense Amid ‘VPR’ Editing Drama
Andy Cohen is coming to Scheana Shay’s support. This comes after her Vanderpump Rules co-stars Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval also came to her defense. The Bravo series is having major drama behind the scenes. An editor of the show admitted to making Scheana appear as embarrassing as possible.
Bri Dellinger appeared on two episodes of the “Twisted Plot Podcast” with Evelyn Marley where she dished about the cast. She admitted that most of them ignored her, including Scheana Shay. That’s when she revealed that she enjoys showing Scheana’s most embarrassing moments on the series. Andy Cohen just revealed that he finds Scheana “endlessly entertaining” amid the drama.
Andy Cohen defends Scheana Shay
As per The Daily Dish, Andy Cohen came to Scheana Shay’s defense. It took place during Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen: @ Home on Tuesday, May 12. Although Season 8 of Vanderpump Rules hasn’t ended yet, Tom Sandoval feels that Scheana Shay is the “MVP” of the season. His girlfriend Ariana Madix agreed and says that it’s easy to pick on Scheana because she wears her heart on her sleeve.
“Kudos to her for being willing to put it all out there time and time again,” Ariana added.
Andy Cohen also said that he adores Scheana. “I agree, I find Scheana endlessly entertaining,” the Bravo executive producer admitted.
Ariana also shared a message for fans who judged Scheana as they watch her love life unfold on Vanderpump Rules. It turns out there’s another side to Scheana that fans don’t get to see on television.
“I would say, yes, Scheana does get involved with people pretty deep pretty fast, but at the same time there’s a lot of stuff that you’re not seeing on the show,” Ariana explained. “Things that are going on with somebody that doesn’t want to film.”
Since there are so many cast members on the show, most of their storylines get cut. So, Scheana’s storyline revolved around her dating life and relationships.
Does the Vanderpump Rules editor have a personal vendetta against Scheana Shay?
Andy Cohen’s defense of Scheana comes after Bri Dellinger, an editor on the Bravo show, appeared on the podcast. She claims that if Scheana befriended her, then she wouldn’t enjoy embarrassing her so much. Bri later joked that if Scheana was to write a memoir, the title should be called, Death by a Million Embarrassments.
However, the VPR editor wouldn’t reveal which cast members she gives more favorable edits to. But she did admit that she made it look like Scheana was hitting on Stassi Schroeder’s 15-year-old brother, Nikolai. She manipulated the scene, added music, and included a sound bite to make Scheana appear desperate.

Insiders told Page Six that both episodes mysteriously disappeared from Apple Podcasts. Scheana previously revealed that she’s upset with how she’s portrayed on the show. It’s unclear whether the VPR editor has been fired after making the confession.
It’s likely that Andy Cohen could be getting to the core of this matter.
