‘Ink Master’ Star Daniel Silva Arrested For Death Of YouTube Star Corey La Barrie

Fatal Car Crash Involving Corey La Barrie and Daniel Silva
On Sunday, May 11, 2020, YouTuber, Corey La Barrie died in a car crash. It was his 25th birthday. People reports the arrest of Daniel Silva on Monday, May 12, one day after the crash.

Sadly, on Sunday, May 11, the accident occurred around 9:30 PM in the Valley Village area of Los Angeles. People reports that Daniel Silva was the driver. Furthermore, the report states, “a 2020 McLaren 600LT was traveling eastbound on Huston Street at a high rate of speed when the driver lost control. Driver then ran off the road and collided with a stop sign and a tree on the northeast corner of Huston Street and Carpenter Avenue.”
Additionally, authorities allege that “Silva, 27, was the driver, and had to be stopped from leaving the crash site.” Furthermore, the LAPD says, “The driver of the McLaren exited the vehicle and attempted to leave the scene but was stopped by citizens who came to render aid.” Remarkably, the collision didn’t involve any other vehicles.
Silva is injured and rides in an ambulance, according to photographs taken on scene by Los Angeles Daily News. But, the extent of his injuries is unknown. At the time of the People report, a representative for Silva had not responded to their request for comment.
Consequently, authorities say, “The Los Angeles Police Department’s Valley Traffic Division announces the arrest of Daniel Joseph Silva, a 27-year -old driver and resident of Los Angeles for murder”. Silva is a tattoo artist in Los Angeles. And he’s recognizable for his appearance in Season 10 of Ink Masters. Additionally, Silva showcases his ink work on his YouTube channel.
Tragedy During Corey La Barrie’s Birthday Celebration
Devastatingly, Corey La Barrie goes to the hospital where he is pronounced dead. Heartbreakingly, his brother, Jarrad La Barrie tweets that his brother died “in a car accident with his drunk friend driving.” Jarrad captions a selfie with his brother with the following:
“This isn’t something I thought I would ever have to sit here and type out for a very long time or what I wanna do right now but everyone deserves to know, my brother Corey passed away last night in a car accident with his drunk friend driving… this is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do I don’t know how I’m supposed to do without you[.] I miss you so much slready this isn’t fair. Thank you for always being the best big brother I could ever ask for I love you so f—– much life’s never gonna be the same without you.”
A series of Instagram Stories chronicles La Barrie’s birthday festivities. The stories show La Barrie celebrating while listing to 2 Chainz “Birthday Song” and drinking champagne. La Barrie also posted a vlog on Saturday. The vlog is titled “Deleting This Video In 24 Hours…” In this post, he tells viewers that his birthday would be live-streamed on Twitch. Astoundingly, La Barrie’s YouTube hosts over 330,000 subscribers. Plus, he had over 200,000 Instagram followers.

In a series of heartbreaking Tweets, YouTuber, Carter Reynolds posts, “I can’t believe I’m saying this right now… I feel like I’m in a bad dream… Rest in Peace @coreylabarrie. You were such a bright spirit and beautiful souls.” He adds that he will miss Corey and calls him his “brother.” His most recent Tweet is a call to his followers not to drink and drive. He tweets, “PLEASE DONT DRINK AND DRIVE.”
Singer, Rebecca Black tweets, “oh god…this makes me incredibly sad. Corey La Barrie was always kind and knew how to lift people up. [Always} brightened by day when [I] saw him. [His] friends really loved him so much, and I am so sorry to them, his family and his supporters.”
