Details Revealed About New Season Of ‘OutDaughtered’

For months, fans of TLC’s OutDaughtered have wondered about the show’s return. It sounds like TLC viewers are missing out on one of their favorite families. Unfortunately, due to the coronavirus, filming was paused. TV Shows Ace previously reported that filming was on hold. There’s no way to film safely amid the coronavirus. The crew isn’t able to go into the Busbys home to film and the family can’t go to many places amid the pandemic. So, the Busbys, as well as many other reality TV stars, had to take a break.

About the break, OutDaughtered dad Adam Busby says,“Unfortunately, we can’t exactly have a camera crew following us around and going places right now … this COVID-19 pandemic has set us back with being able to make any new episodes. Hopefully this is over soon and everyone can get back to normal life and we can get back to making new episodes for you guys.”

OutDaughtered will return to TLC in June

Well, things are looking up for fans of the Busby family. Fortunately, fans of the show will be able to watch the Busbys again very soon. On Tuesday, PEOPLE exclusively confirmed that the show will return to TLC on June 2. This is the show’s fifth season.

The outlet reports that the show will air on Tuesdays, along with several other popular shows. The new season features all kinds of exciting moments for the Busby family. In the new season, the family’s plans start to fall apart amid the coronavirus. This includes birthday plans, Easter celebrations, and more. The family also decides to go on a skiing trip in Wyoming. The girls get to experience snow and skiing for the first time in their lives. But, as they return to Texas, the coronavirus is getting worse.

Soon after they return to Texas, the family is met with the challenge of staying home with their six daughters. The new season will capture the chaos of the family trying to make things work.

The final episode of Season 5 is entirely self-shot by the Busby family. This will make things interesting for sure.

But, fans are just happy to hear that their favorite show will be back on TV. Even though some states are reopening, many people are choosing to stay home more often to protect themselves. So, starting in June, fans will have something new to watch while spending time at home.

The coronavirus has certainly impacted how many shows are filmed and aired. Many shows have been put on hold. Others have been able to air remotely.

Sweet Home Sextuplets will be back in June too

OutDaughtered isn’t the only TLC show returning in June. PEOPLE also reports that Sweet Home Sextuplets will be back on the network. The filming situation is similar. Season 3 of Sweet Home Sextuplets will return to TLC on June 16. This is the show’s third season.
