Lala Kent Admits Randall Emmett Almost Ended Their Relationship Over A Year Ago
Lala Kent made another shocking revelation about her relationship to Randall Emmett. She revealed that he almost broke up with her before she got sober. This comes after Lala admitted that they almost ended their relationship several times while in quarantine together. The reality star has been open and honest about the ups and down of their relationship.
The coronavirus pandemic has put their wedding on hold. Lala also said that she’s considering putting their baby plans on hold amid these uncertain times. It also turns out that Randall hit his breaking point before Lala even got sober. She made the shocking revelation during an appearance on the Tuesday, May 5 episode of Maria Menounos’ podcast, “Better Together With Maria Menounos,” per Inquisitr.

Randall almost ended things with Lala Kent a year and a half ago
During her interview, the Vanderpump Rules cast member talked about the moment she quit drinking for good. She also revealed that prior to choosing a life of sobriety, Randall wanted to end their relationship. It came after she went on an alcohol-infused trip to Walt Disney World with Randall, his kids, and other members of his family. Lala Kent woke up hungover after returning home to Los Angeles. She couldn’t remember what happened. That’s when she realized she needed to make a major change in her life.
“I woke up to an empty house and that was when…It was almost like I had my dad saying, ‘You had six months to grieve me and now it’s time to pull your life together,” Lala said.

Randall planned to give her a letter on that same day she told him about her plans for sobriety. Since she chose to quit alcohol, the couple never ended their relationship. In fact, they’re stronger than ever. Lala previously talked about her sobriety. On that same day she decided to quit drinking, Randall made the same pledge. But she has fears that if he ever takes up drinking again, that she will follow his lead.
“I told him, ‘You don’t have a drinking problem and if you want to go and have fun, you can absolutely do that. I will be fine,” Lala said.
Randall has some fears as well. He’s afraid that she could relapse since she gave up drinking in the past and decided against the idea.
The couple put their wedding and pregnancy plans on hold
Lala Kent and Randall Emmett are overhauling their relationship while in quarantine, per Page Six. The actress and the producer had to postpone their April 18 wedding due to the pandemic. Lala joked that they may never get married after all. That’s when she revealed to Maria that they broke up several times while in quarantine together.
“Well Randall and I have almost broken up about a dozen times, so, you know you, this is definitely a test for people’s relationships, but it’s so crazy because you know you sit there and you start bickering about little things and you start overanalyzing everything and like we really have just like elevated our relationship in such an amazing way,” Lala said.

The couple is remaining positive during these uncertain times. Randall and Lala plan to have two kids, but they want to wait things out for now. Their new wedding date is scheduled for July.
