May has been a tough month for anyone who was planning to get married. This includes Bachelor in Paradise couple Raven Gates and Adam Gottschalk. The bride-to-be is trying to stay positive, but it’s still disappointing. Keep reading to find out what Raven had to say about her now postponed wedding date.

Raven announces wedding is postponed

There’s no word on a new wedding date just yet, but Raven did go to Instagram to announce their decision to postpone the original one. The original date was set to be May 30. Now, they will have to wait a bit longer to become man and wife.

Raven shared a gorgeous photo of herself and the groom. She captioned it saying, “Calling all the brides out there👋🏻❤️ This month would’ve been our wedding month!”

Raven goes on to say there have been some big happen things during their time in quarantine. She also mentioned some big things that did not happen. Their wedding, of course, being one of them.

Big things have still happened

Raven goes on in her post to say that even though they aren’t getting married as planned this month, some big things did happen. Adam turned 30 during quarantine is a definite huge milestone. Plus, the two finally moved into their new home together in Dallas.

Raven said, “During this time of quarantine some big things have happened! (And didn’t happen) Adam turned 30! ✨ we moved into our house (a big task for the two of us) ✨ our bachelor/bachelorette and bridal parties have been cancelled and the future is unknown & of course We’ve post poned our wedding👰🏻 But! We are staying positive!”

She went on to thank doctors and nurses who have been on the front lines fighting Covid-19. Raven also added that she and Adam are doing their part to keep themselves and everyone around them safe and healthy. That includes a viral virtual pass the drink challenge which Adam shared on his Instagram. It’s a way to keep in touch with friends whom they are all missing.

Raven and Adam’s wedding

When the social distancing rules ease up and Raven is allowed to have her special day, it will be amazing. Raven has said in past interviews that while Adam has some requests, he has pretty much left the planning up to her. One detail is pretty definite. Rachel Lindsay isn’t invited to the wedding. It’s not because Raven is trying to be mean. She just knows Rachel doesn’t like her and feels having someone who doesn’t like you at your wedding would be weird.

Fans can’t wait to see Raven and Adam tie the knot. They are adorable together and another Bachelor in Paradise success story. While the two did not get engaged on the show, they did meet during Season 4 and fell in love. They are still going strong and can’t wait to be man and wife.
