Jill Duggar’s husband Derick Dillard delivers food via Grubhub. He has been doing this for a little while now. He first shared about his new gig on social media back in September 2019. But it’s not clear exactly when he started this job. Still, it seems like he enjoys it or makes enough money to keep it up.
Now, amid the coronavirus pandemic, he’s still delivering food. Food delivery services like Grubhub, Door Dash and Uber Eats are seeing more and more orders. This is because people aren’t able to dine in. They must place takeout or delivery orders. So, delivery drivers like Derick are able to pick up more jobs.
It seems that Derick is using Grubhub as a way to pay his way through law school. Jill and Derick are no longer on TLC’s Counting On. Derick also quit his job as an accountant at Walmart. So, as far as fans know, Grubhub is his main source of income.
Jill recently revealed that Derick wrapped up his second year of law school. So, he has a little break before summer classes start up. In the same post, the Duggar daughter reveals that the couple is heading to deliver Grubhub.

Jill and kids go with on Grubhub runs, Duggar fans are concerned
This isn’t the first time that Jill has gone with Derick to deliver food. It’s likely that the kids went with on the most recent run, but she didn’t say for sure. Due to the pandemic, it’s unlikely that the family would have hired a sitter. Previously, she shared on her Instagram stories that she and the boys, Israel, 5, and Samuel, 2, went with Derick to make some deliveries. This was during tornado weather. Plus, there’s the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
So, naturally, Duggar fans expressed their concerns. They were worried about the kids’ safety as they were out in the storm. Fans also shared their concerns about the kids’ health. Due to the coronavirus, most delivery services are offering contact-free deliveries. So, Derick might not have come into contact with many people, but he still had to pick the food up from the restaurants and make some contact there.
Nonetheless, the family seems to enjoy spending this time together. Plenty of fans are worried about the safety of it all and whether the kids should be near someone else’s food. Derick and Jill have yet to say anything in response though.
