Jamie Otis talks about pregnancy weight gain

On her Instagram stories, Jamie talks about her pregnancy weight gain. In this pregnancy, she’s gained 55 pounds. She points out that she still has a week to go too. She says, “I have a week until I’m full term — like, 40 weeks, I mean. So I still have time to go. And I’m like, ‘I don’t know how I got so big?'” Then, she reveals that she’s enjoying ice cream directly from the container while laying in bed.

She says, jokingly,”I mean, this must be a really big baby.” But, then she adds that she’s been eating a lot of ice cream. She says she enjoys ice cream or milk and cookies “every night.”

Jamie Otis doesn’t seem to be bothered by the weight gain, and she seems to be having a healthy pregnancy. She recently shared a couple of nude photos featuring her nearly full term baby bump. In her post, she talks about not complaining during this pregnancy. Due to her previous pregnancy difficulties, she’s very grateful to be having a healthy baby.

In that Instagram post, Jamie writes, “I promised God I wouldn’t complain about any pregnancy pains if he’d just let me keep this baby.🙏🏻🤰🏼 Monday I am 39 weeks pregnant!!! I wont complain about the waddle🐧 , the Hemerrhroids😳, the fatigue😴, and back pains🤪 – God’s kept his promise and I’m keeping mine!🙌🏼💗.”

Jamie is having a home birth

Due to the coronavirus, Jamie and Doug decided that a home birth is the best choice for them. As a nurse, Jamie understands why it’s important for babies to be born in the hospital. But, due to the coronavirus, she is concerned that she or the baby could get sick. Plus, many hospitals are limiting the number of people in the delivery room. So, the couple is using a midwife and Jamie will give birth at home any day now.

The couple recently revealed the baby’s name in a YouTube video. They’re naming him Hayes Douglas.

So, when do you think Jamie and Doug’s baby boy will arrive? Leave your guesses in the comments below.
