‘Unexpected’: Shayden Massey Arrested Again For Warrant and Drugs
Unexpected fans heard from Shayden Massey that he split from Lexus after she allegedly cheated on him. That came when he served some jail time over the weekends. Now, Shayden fell afoul of the law again and could look at even more jail time. He got himself arrested and this time it involved an outstanding warrant and possession of drugs.
Unexpected – Shayden can’t stay out of trouble despite loving his daughter
Shayden’s really a nice-looking young man, fans think. He also often posts photos of his daughter, Scarlett, and seems devoted to her. But, he seems unable to stay out of trouble with the law. He originally split from Lexus as he went away to jail over the weekends at one time. Back in January, he claimed that while he did weekend time, Lexus cheated on him, we reported. He felt that there’s no excuse for cheating.
The Unexpected star said that those weekends in jail came about after he got caught driving “without a license.” Jayden explained that he drove his car as needed for transport for work. Fans on his Instagram seemed quite forgiving at the time. After all, at least he supported his daughter a lot. The latest arrest news isn’t very specific but it took place in the morning. Apparently, in the latest report by Starcasm, his arrest came at “6:39 AM on April 27.”
It looks like Shayden cooperated with the cops last time he got arrested
The details that Starcasm reported don’t say much more other than his arrest came from an outstanding warrant and possession of drugs. The outlet noted that Shayden paid a $260 bond and heads for the court in June. His last arrest for similar charges involved speeding and possession of drug paraphernalia just over a year ago. Apparently, he had no ID on him and admitted he also held no driver’s license.
After he also admitted there might be some marijuana and some drug paraphernalia in the car, a canine unit located something suspicious. The affidavit noted that the Unexpected dad had four pipes and some suspicious-looking substances in the vehicle. Actually, the latest arrest looks the seventh time Shayden encountered the police and ended up in trouble. Previous reports show his arrest in June 2018, where his plates expired. Then in December that year, he got into trouble for driving with a “suspended license.”
More trouble for the Unexpected dad
By 2019, it looked like Shayden never learned from his previous run-ins with the law. Indiana court papers show he ended up there four times last year. The charges ranged from multiple driving offenses to paraphernalia and marijuana possession.

It certainly looks like those Live PD shows, where a traffic stop ends up in more things being revealed. The trouble is, that Shayden’s young. As the young dad gets older, the courts are less likely to be lenient with him, so Unexpected fans worry about Scarlett who seems to really cherish her dad. Hopefully, Shayden starts making some adjustments to his life soon.
