LPBW alum Audrey Roloff took her Instagram this week and announced a giveaway for $1,000 in cash. Six people stand to win $1,000 each. Actually, the Kardashians really got many celebs into this sort of way to get followers. Known as Loop Giveaways, often brands or bloggers and social influencers get together and make these giveaways as a way of getting more followers. It doesn’t always work in the longterm, but fans appreciate the prizes. Recently, Carlin Bates shared a giveaway without a requirement to follow other accounts. Many fans liked that as it came over that she really cared about them during the difficult coronavirus time.

LPBW – about 80k fans already entered Audrey Roloff’s $1,000 giveaway

Audrey Roloff, previously on Little People, Big World, like many other reality TV celebs, announced her giveaway. It started on April 26. It runs through until May 1. And already, over 80k people did what she required to gain entry and are in it to win it. Audrey noted in her Instagram caption, “6 of you are going to win that amount, [$1,000] 😱.” She added, “I’m teaming up with five of my FAVE, inspiring Insta-gals to do a giveaway and bless six of you in this challenging season.”

Actually, skeptical fans might think that rather than caring about other people, its just a way for these “Insta-gals” to acquire more followers. ⁣TV Shows Ace reported that Carlin Bates from Bringing Up Bates also started a giveaway recently. But, she never asked her fans to follow anyone other than herself. That’s unusual. While Audrey Roloff of LPBW requested entrants follow six people, Carlin just asked for one follow of her own account. But to be fair to Audrey, $6,000 is a lot of money. Carlin only managed a few $50 Visa vouchers.

Loop Giveaways were made popular by the Kardashian clan

Basically, as Later.com reported, these Loop Giveaways are a way of “buying” followers. When it involves winning brands, often they team up with big names. The Kardashians got it all back into a trend. They noted that “in May 2019, Kylie Jenner endorsed a giveaway for 9 luxury bags and $20,000 in an Instagram post (now deleted).” It introduced “a whole new wave of celebrity-fronted loop giveaway posts!” Prior to that, they were seen as a rather “black-hat” way of getting followers.

Now, people like Kyle Richards and other reality TV show people like Audrey from Little People, Big World often shared these loop giveaways, For the people who win, it’s great, so they don’t object. But it doesn’t always work in the longterm for the promoters. Full-time blogger “Maria, of The Chic Pursuit, paid $500 to take part in a loop giveaway in 2017.” But the followers dwindled away and a few years later, she ended up back where she started. Hopefully, for Audrey of LPBW, she gets to keep some of her new followers.
