In a new social media post, Jinger Duggar Vuolo offers parenting advice. She shares a picture of her nearly two-year-old daughter Felicity. Jinger talks about how her days are filled by taking care of Felicity’s needs. She mentions that Felicity is a busy toddler, and she keeps Jinger busy too.
Jinger then writes, “Before Felicity was born, an older woman at church told me, ‘The days are long, but the years are short.’ How true it is. I don’t want to be so focused on the future that I miss the beauty of today. Mothers, let’s cherish these days!”
Then, the Duggar daughter shifts her focus to the stay-at-home orders and the current state of the world. She writes, “Even during the abnormalities of what we’re living through, we should remind ourselves to take advantage of the time we have with our loved ones. These are the moments that we’ll fondly remember.”
In response to the post, fans are thanking Jinger for her insight. Her sister Jessa Seewald says that she loves the post. Parents seem to appreciate the reminder from Jinger. It can be difficult to be overwhelmed during these times. But, parents are remembering to be grateful for this quality time with their kids.
