‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Brandon Barash Talks His Return
This week will see all-new episodes of Days of Our Lives, including the much-anticipated return of Brandon Barash. While he is coming back, fans are wondering who Brandon will play. Will he be resurrected as Stefan O DiMera? Fans remember Stefan was shot and his heart was donated to Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes). Hey, but in the world of soap operas, anything can happen? Alternatively, is Brandon coming back as a different character?
Brandon Barash returns to Days of Our Lives
As noted by Michael Fairman TV, the current issue of Soap Opera Digest reveals Barash as a mechanic by the name of Jake on Days of Our Lives. He immediately crosses paths with Ben Weston (Rob Scott Wilson). However, Brandon didn’t share many details with Soap Opera Digest, just telling them “The reveal is going to be fun.”
Barash continued by saying it will be obvious from the moment we see Jake and hear him speak, that he is the total “opposite of Stefan.” See a teaser for DOOL in the video included here.
Whatever happens with Brandon’s return, Stabi fans still hope Gabi (Camila Banus) and Stefan will magically reunite. Alternatively, maybe Gabi will find love again with a guy who looks exactly like Stefan? As everyone knows, the pair has off-the-charts chemistry, meaning this would not necessarily be out of the question. Fans would certainly enjoy something of this nature.
Brandon Barash and his career
Besides his Days of Our Lives role, Brandon Barash is also known for his role of Johnny Zacchara in the ABC soap General Hospital. Between 2002 and 2004, he played the role of Jamie, Paris Geller’s boyfriend in several episodes of Gilmore Girls.
Brandon played Melrose Place actor Thomas Calabro, in the TV film The Unauthorized Melrose Place Story on Lifetime. He also had a recurring role as Detective Robby Oderno in the TNT show, Major Crimes. He played Ernest Hemingway in an episode of the NBC time travel series, Timeless.

It was in March 2019 that Barash joined the cast of Days of Our Lives when he replaced Tyler Christopher in the role of Stefan DiMera. Of interest to note, Brandon also played in the rock group “Port Chuck”, with his former General Hospital co-stars Scott Reeves, Steve Burton and Bradford Anderson.
