Jill Dillard Joins Duggar Sisters In Cutting Kids’ Hair
In an Instagram post, Jill Duggar Dillard revealed that she gave her boys haircuts. She also shared about the haircuts on YouTube in a quick video. It looks like the video was published back in March, but Jill only recently shared about it on social media this week. Nonetheless, it’s still timely. At-home haircuts are pretty popular now due to the coronavirus.
Many people are having to take their haircuts into their own hands because salons and barbershops are temporarily closed. Others are having to color their hair at home. So, Duggar fans appreciate Jill’s video. It makes them feel less alone in the struggle. In the comments section of Jill’s post, fans are commenting and saying that they’re also attempting at-home haircuts. Jill’s sister-in-law, Deena Dillard, says that she’s going to try to cut Dan Dillard’s hair soon.
In the comments section of Jill’s post, Duggar fans are also pointing out how grown-up both Israel and Samuel look. Israel recently turned five, and Samuel will turn three this summer. They’re definitely growing up fast. And, fans especially noticed that Samuel doesn’t look like a baby anymore.
Duggar sisters also cut kids’ hair
Jill isn’t the only one in her family who’s cutting hair. Jill’s sisters Joy-Anna Forsyth and Jessa Seewald recently gave their kids trims too. Joy-Anna shared this on her Instagram stories, revealing that she cut two-year-old Gideon’s hair with kitchen shears. Jessa has made YouTube videos about cutting her kids’ hair. And, due to the coronavirus, she is promoting those haircut tutorials to help parents out.

Jessa previously revealed that she’s been cutting hair for a long time. While she cuts her husband Ben’s hair and their sons’ hair, she also cut her brothers’ hair for years. Now, since she’s moved out of her parents’ home, she’s using those skills for her own family. It’s likely that another Duggar family member now cuts the boys’ hair at Jim Bob and Michelle’s home.
Jill’s video on YouTube isn’t a tutorial like Jessa’s is. But, she still shows her followers how she was able to give her boys a haircut. In the video, viewers can also see that Jill’s kids are watching Sesame Street while she cuts their hair. Jessa also gives the suggestion to let kids watch a show while they’re getting a haircut.
