Hallmark’s ‘Midway To Love’: All The Details, Premiere Date

Hallmark Movies & Mysteries is already beginning to fill in their summer schedule with the movie Midway To Love. Starring Rachel Hendrix (Semper Fi) and Daniel Stine (Virginia Minnesota), this is a romantic story about high school sweethearts reuniting.

What Is Midway To Love About?

Dr. Rachel August (Hendrix) is the host of a New York City television therapy show, where she helps people. According to the Hallmark press release, Rachel is horrified when her network decides to change the format to essentially a “shock-fest.”

Rachel is a serious psychologist. She has no interest in going to a tabloid-style format. As Dr. August, she is respected authority. She has no interest in acting like a TV buffoon. Looking to find her center and figure out her next move, she heads back to her small town, hometown. Rachel runs into her high school sweetheart, Mitchell (Stine). Mitchell moved back to their hometown and is now a fourth grade teacher.

Instantly, the two feel comfortable together again. Mitchell takes her back to some of the places they used to go. They reminisce and they both still feel the same sort of spark.

Now, Rachel has to decide whether she wants to return to NYC and compromise her personal values to host a shock TV show, or is she willing to imagine her life a different way. Does Rachel want love or fame?

When Is Hallmark Airing Midway To Love?

Hallmark Movies & Mysteries is premiering Midway To Love on Sunday, June 28, at 9 p.m. Eastern time. Hallmark Movies & Mysteries have not yet posted encore showings of this movie.

Midway To Love is more movies than mysteries for the Hallmark sister station. If you are new to this Hallmark channel, this is a good time to check out some of their original mysteries. Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Signature Mysteries offer intriguing mysteries, along with a healthy dose of romance. Think Moonlighting or Hart to Hart. Some original mysteries you may enjoy may include some of TV Shows Ace favorites such as Alison Sweeney’s (Days of Our Lives) original series the Chronicle Mysteries. There is plenty of romance in the PenaVega’s mystery series, the Picture Perfect Mysteries.

Of course, during the day, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries airs classic mysteries, including Murder She Wrote, Psych and Monk. It is hard not to love the entertaining mystery stories about Cabot Cove, Santa Barbara, and San Francisco, with steady Jessica, goofy Shawn and Gus and the complex Adrian.

Currently, Hallmark is not filming anything new due to the coronavirus. Once the all clear has been given, we will report once the cameras start rolling.
