Chief stew Jenna MacGillivray apologizes to her fellow crew members for her behavior on Below Deck Sailing Yacht. Viewers slammed her for her treatment of the other stews and the former deckhand. Other fans felt that her relationship with chef Adam Glick was unprofessional.

Now, several weeks after watching her behavior play out on the reality series, Jenna issued an apology to Georgia Grobler, Madison Stalker, and Parker McCown. As a result, watching herself has given her time to reflect.

According to Monsters & Critics, Jenna MacGillivray took to social media to express her sorrow and regret. She posted an emotional letter on Instagram after weeks of watching Season 1 of Below Deck Sailing Yacht. First of all, Jenna started her post by asking people to take her seriously.

“I apologize for some of my behavior,” Jenna wrote. “It was not my intent to belittle or hurt people in any way, but I understand that’s what happened to some people, as a result of my actions.”

Jenna stated that no one is perfect… And, because of that people make mistakes. For that reason, she admitted that watching the show has been hard on her. After admitting that her words come with consequences, Jenna issued a joint apology to Georgia, Madison, and Parker.

“To Georgia, Madison, and Parker. I will never say any of you weren’t working you’re a**** off,” Jenna continued. “There were dynamics that were at times, difficult. So again. I am sorry. I would never want someone to feel like s*** because of me. And that’s the truth.”

On the show, Jenna didn’t spend enough time with Georgia and Madison. She says that she had Adam on the brain. Jenna’s apology comes one day after Below Deck Sailing Yacht fans watched her tell Adam that Madison should be punished for arguing with him.

Jenna’s apology comes after she spoke out against online bullying. She understands that being on reality television comes with backlash. But she’s received a significant amount of hate, especially on Twitter. The viewers have no problem saying what’s on their minds.

However, Jenna received more hate than her fellow cast members. Showbiz Cheat Sheet asked Jenna about some of the hate she’s received.

“The internet can be a dark place,” Jenna admitted. “People love hiding behind screens. I don’t think anyone deserves to [have] hate spewed onto them.”

The reality star sees the bright side to this situation. On Instagram, she posts some of the hate she gets. Jenna has even pledged to stand up for those who have been bullied.

“Being part of this process has really opened my eyes to the type of bullying and cruelty that exists online in a way that has shocked me,” she continued. “I am on a show. I agreed to share myself with the world and all that comes with it, however, I will remind people that I do not support abuse when I can stop it.”
