Lala Kent Of ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Reflects On What Would Have Been Her Wedding Day

News, Reality TV, Vanderpump Rules

If the world hadn’t changed drastically in a matter of days, Lala Kent and Randall Emmett would have gotten married Saturday, April 18. The two got engaged in September 2018 and set the date right away. The two decided to move their wedding to July, hoping by then things will be a little closer to normal. On Saturday, she posted a picture of herself in a veil on her Instagram and a card Emmett gave her on her story.

Along with her Instagram photo, she says, “Life doesn’t care what we want or have planned. I’m a Virgo, so that really messes with me. I’m working on being softer. Going with the flow of things and realizing that light and love will conquer it all.”

Lala Kent Received A Sweet Card From Randall Emmett

Lala Kent also posted a card and flowers she received from Emmett. In a sweet note Emmett writes, “To the Future Mrs. Emmett. These flowers are a celebration of what is to come soon in our July wedding and the blessing that we will become one. I love you more than any words could ever describe. My heart is full of love because I have you. Love, Your Future Husband.”

The two had discussed the decision to move the wedding in March, according to People. She said she went through her planner where she’d written her wedding day in pen. She didn’t think she’d have to erase it. Lala broke down and Randall comforted her about the emotional decision. When announcing the postponement the couple said, “We are obviously saddened by this but for the ultimate safety of our families and guests, we have made the decision to wait and see how everything progresses.”

Other Weddings Are Being Put On Hold Because Of COVID-19

Lala Kent isn’t the only one putting her plans on hold. Her co-star on Vanderpump Rules, Stassi Schroeder, is giving up on a big wedding according to US Weekly. She writes on Twitter, “So planning a wedding that may be nonexistent is fun. Def recommend.” Stassi at least has someone in her circle to lean on with Lala’s wedding on hold too.

For now Lala and Randall will enjoy each other quarantining and posting on social media. Emmett tells Lala he loved her and that they are in a good place. They are safe. She said no matter the date, their wedding will be special. Fans sent their well wishes and are sympathizing with Lala, as lots of people are having to cancel important things.
