Psych-Os are one step closer to seeing the highly anticipated second Psych movie, Lassie Come Home. The new preview has just been released. When can fans of Shawn and Gus finally get to see this highly anticipated movie?
Psych: Lassie Come Home Preview Released
They have released a preview for the second Psych movie. This movie has been called, Lassie Come Home. As you can guess by the title, there will be plenty of Lassiter, portrayed by Timothy Omundson. Omundson suffered a stroke just prior to the first movie. Thus, he only had a cameo in that movie.
This movie will have a Hitchcockian feel to it. The time has shifted to the present day, and they are back in Santa Barbara. Lassie is in a hospital and sees some strange things going on. Gus and Shawn are there to help out their friend.
Jimmi Simpson will be back as Mary Lightly. Joel McHale will also guest star. He is playing a “mysterious” person from Lassiter’s past. This should all be a lot of fun. When will the second Psych movie air?
When Will Peacock Release Second Movie?
So far, Peacock has not revealed a release date. Hopefully, this information is forthcoming. As TV Shows Ace has previously reported, Psych-Os have been waiting quite a long time for this release. Back in the spring 2019, they began filming Psych: Lassie Come Home. At that time, they revealed that this second movie would be released over the Christmas holiday 2019. This was at the same time of year as the first Psych movie.
Then, NBC Universal chose to wait until the new Peacock streaming network premieres. Well, the rollout day was April 15. Does this mean that they will use this mini-marathon as an excuse to announce the movie premiere? Psycho-Os can only hope.
