Michelle Money shared that her daughter was in a skateboarding accident. The accident happened on March 29. Since then, Brielle, 15, has been in the hospital. Things are looking up now, and Brielle is improving.
Michelle’s ex-husband and Brielle’s dad, Ryan Money, shared a new update on social media Thursday. Michelle’s followers can look for updates from Ryan as she’s decided to take a social media break to care for Brielle. In the latest update, Ryan calls Brielle’s recovery “nothing short of a miracle.”
Ryan shares an old video of Brielle and writes, “In my last post, I said that Brielle came into the Neural Trauma Unit [NTU] ‘guns a blazin’! Well, that was an understatement. The improvement that Brielle has made in the last 4 days is nothing short of a miracle. 5 days ago she hadn’t moved for 2 weeks and had a breathing tube in. Now we are facetiming family members one after another until they get bored of us.”
Then, Michelle Money’s ex-husband talks about Brielle’s sense of humor and how she hasn’t lost it. He tells a story, saying, “Just tonight Brie told her uncle Nick that her hair looked better than his and she has had staples and stitches (those coronavirus haircuts are tough)! We all got a good laugh out of that one.”

In my last post, I said that Brielle came into the Neural Trauma Unit [NTU] 'guns a blazin'! Well, that was an understatement. The improvement that Brielle has made in the last 4 days is nothing short of a miracle. 5 days ago she hadn't moved for 2 weeks and had a breathing tube in. Now we are facetiming family members one after another until they get bored of us. Also, Brie has not lost her sense of humor. Just tonight Brie told her uncle Nick that her hair looked better than his and she has had staples and stitches (those coronavirus haircuts are tough)! We all got a good laugh out of that one. Brie and I cruised the hospital tonight before bed. I pushed the wheelchair but feel like she may have been able to push me. We got back to the room and she stood at the sink, brushed her teeth, and went right to bed. I am really starting to like this. Anyone who is familiar with TBIs knows that she has a ways to go, but we feel like we have the wind at our back and are heading in the right direction. We continue to be indebted to those who are praying for Brielle and our family. We LOVE YOU and appreciate your petitions to God on our behalf. Thank You! 🙏 ❤️
Ryan also uses this post to thank all of his social media followers who have been thinking of their family. He says that he thinks they are “heading in the right direction.” Hopefully, things will continue to stay positive.
Michelle Money is grateful for support during this time
Throughout this difficult time, Michelle is asking her social media followers for support. They are offering prayers and want to help in any way possible. Michelle claims that her followers’ prayers made a difference in Brielle’s numbers. Because of all the support she’s received, she is thankful. She often takes the time to thank her followers for their endless support during this hard time.
Because Michelle is no longer using social media, the most current updates will come from Ryan. He shares that he appreciates all the love and prayers too. Of course, fans want to help in any way they can right now. The coronavirus makes it hard for supporters to help physically, as it is preventing family and friends from going to the hospital to be with the Money family.
