The Duggar family has been called out after not practicing social-distancing. Some of the family members got together for a family night in late March. This was a few weeks ago. So, it’s assumed that the family has since started taking the coronavirus more seriously. Some of the family is practicing social-distancing. But, others are ignoring the guidelines completely.

Kendra Duggar visits her parents amid coronavirus pandemic

Earlier this week, Kendra’s family, the Caldwells, shared a new post on Instagram. In the post, their son Isaiah and Kendra’s son Garrett are hanging out. The nephew-uncle pair is close in age. So, they get along well and spend a lot of time together. The family often posts cute pictures of the boys playing together.

The post features several pictures of the boys playing, and the Caldwell family refers to them as “partners in crime.” So, the post itself doesn’t have to do with social-distancing or the coronavirus. But, Duggar and Caldwell fans were quick to point out that the family should be practicing social-distancing.

One Instagram user offered to explain social-distancing, saying, “It means if you don’t live with the person you don’t see them.” Other similar comments followed.

There is a possibility that these photos are older and that the family is practicing social-distancing. But, fans think the family should have stated that in the caption if it’s true. It would definitely help with some of the backlash they’re receiving. So far, Kendra and her family have yet to respond to the comments about social-distancing.

What social-distancing guidelines are in place in Arkansas?

According to CNN, Arkansas still isn’t under a stay-at-home order. And, Governor Asa Hutchinson seems to think that a lockdown is unnecessary.

Duggar fans feel that the family should stay at home, whether there’s an order or not. After all, the news is full of news and statistics surrounding the coronavirus. Fans feel that it’s common sense to stay home during a pandemic.

As it turns out, some people don’t understand how social-distancing works. With social-distancing, you should only be with the people you’ve been living with. So, by those guidelines, Kendra should stay with her husband and kids. Plus, asymptomatic people have tested positive for the coronavirus. This means that someone could be carrying the virus and have no idea. They can then potentially spread it to others because they feel healthy and thought it was safe to hang out with friends or family.
